Continuity mistake: While the four parents are atop Adam's chest of drawers, the red Britannica Junior Encyclopædia behind Adam's Sharkruiser has its spine facing out, and we see it's volume 16. However, when Wayne, Gordon, Diane, and Patty are seated inside the Sharkruiser and begin to take off down the track, the Britannica behind them is now volume 20. (00:30:20 - 00:32:15)
Wayne Szalinski: Diane, are you going to stay mad at me the whole time or are you going to try and make the best of this bad situation?
Diane Szalinski: I'm going to stay mad at you the whole time.
Trivia: The final live-action film to star Rick Moranis before he mostly retired from acting to take care of his kids after his wife's unfortunate passing. Moranis is however tentatively attached to appear in a legacy sequel titled "Shrunk," though the film has been stuck in development hell for some time.
Question: As the dads are getting into the Shark car, they say something like, "too bad he wasn't playing with. yeah, that was cherry" well that's what it sounded like. Anyone know what they're saying?
