Plot hole: The British cavalry travels across the desert to rescue their comrades whom the infidels have captured. The cavalry stops some distance from the entrance of the fortress before the signal to rush forward—led by a long line of troops atop galloping horses. When they enter the compound, foot soldiers are accompanying them.
