Factual error: When Martin Krebs is sitting in traffic, he looks in his driver's side rear view mirror, and the writing "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear" is printed in a clear call-back to the first film. However, this repeats the mistake made in the first film: this writing is only on passenger side mirrors.
Trivia: Following the release of this film, Scarlett Johansson became the highest-grossing lead actor of all time (not including voice actors like Frank Welker or cameo actors like Stan Lee), surpassing the record held by Samuel L. Jackson. She also became the first woman to hold this distinction.
