Other mistake: When a table catches fire at the restaurant, a waiter throws a bucket of water to extinguish it. The manager stands between them at the moment the water flies across at waist level. Notice how the actor needs to crouch down deliberately so that the water lands on his head and soaks him, to allow for the comic effect.
Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, Lilo is sitting at a table with a white box of crayons standing upright in front of her. During a close-up of Lilo picking her nose, the box is lying flat on the table. In the following shot of the table, the box is back in its previous upright position.
Continuity mistake: Jumba picks up his ice pack and starts getting up from the bed. In the next shot, he's lying down again and repeats the same movement as before.
Continuity mistake: While the doctor is calming the family, she's holding a blue folder, except for a brief shot when she asks if Stitch is a service dog. At that moment, her right arm is suddenly against her chest, but half a second later she's suddenly holding the folder again.
Continuity mistake: When the doctor tells the family that Liko is OK, a man with the side of his head shaved walks behind her toward a door for a couple of shots. A few seconds later, he appears again, though several meters behind, repeating the same walk.
Continuity mistake: When Cobra is on the phone, a woman in a blue and white floral dress walks by twice between consecutive shots. (00:59:38)
Continuity mistake: When Lilo is rescued by Nani and placed on the surfboard, her hair is brushed backwards, but a split second later it's brushed to the side. In the following shots, it keeps changing between instant cuts.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo sees the scorched photo album, there are no photos on the left page. When she bends down, two pictures appear, but in the following overhead shot, they disappear again.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo is on the swing, her arms are raised holding the ropes. As she recalls going camping, her right arm suddenly is lowered, but in the very next shot from a different angle, it is raised again.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo leaves the candy on the counter, the woman behind her changes position - her right arm switches from being crossed to extended between instant cuts.
Continuity mistake: Nani tells Lilo she's not bad while placing her hands under her chin. From the opposite angle, her hands are no longer there. This swaps back and forth several times. (00:20:16)
Continuity mistake: When Lilo escapes from Nani, she runs past the kitchen sink. In the next shot, she runs past the same sink again.
Continuity mistake: When Nani exits the bar and drops the brochure, it lands diagonally on the floor. In the next shot, its position has changed.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo walks into the resort pool, a man carrying a football walks by twice.
Continuity mistake: When a wedding guest is holding up Stitch, a woman with a broom swings it towards the alien - but the groom gets in the way and is the one who gets smacked instead. The problem is that the groom is standing in the first shot, but when the broom is about to hit the guest, the groom is nowhere in sight. The shot then changes, and now the groom reacts to the hit.
Continuity mistake: At the ice cream parlour, Lilo is wearing flip-flops. When the girls arrive, she's suddenly wearing sneakers.
Continuity mistake: When Cobra removes a strand of hair from Stitch and he growls, Lilo is holding a notebook and some crayons. She then turns around, and both the notebook and the crayons have disappeared. A shot later, they're suddenly on the floor - even though they never fell from her hands.
Continuity mistake: Pleakley removes his shower cap, rests it on his shoulder, and watches the hologram. From the opposite angle, both the shower cap and his arm are gone.
Visible crew/equipment: When Cobra gets in the car and raises the window, Nani comes closer to talk to him. At that moment, the moving filming camera on a crane is visible in the side-view mirror.
Continuity mistake: When Lilo checks the broken cage, the left blanket on top isn't hanging near the hole - but in the very next shot, it is. In the following shots, both blankets keep changing positions all the time.
