Plot hole: Jenny steals Dr. "Sanchez's" badge by bumping into him so she can get into the lab, but she never did anything to return it. But Dr. "Sanchez" is still somehow able to walk into his lab without his badge. And even if he thought he left his badge behind in the lab for some reason and had someone let him in, he doesn't do anything to look for it, which would have alerted him to a security breach before seeing the scarab missing.
Other mistake: At the abandoned Kord home, when Jenny reveals the spiral staircase, the center pole is to their right and the handrail is to their left. When they're at the bottom, the center pole is now to their left and the handrail is to their right.
Continuity mistake: When Jenny arrives on her motorbike, her jacket is buttoned and she is wearing baggy pants. In the close-up, however, her jacket is open, showing cleavage, and her trousers are tight - indicating the first shot featured a stunt double.
