Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film, the Clampetts received $1 billion after they strike oil. During the course of the film, they own a mansion, cars, new furniture and clothes etc etc. Then at the end, Woodrow Tyler is attempting to transfer all their money which is stated as ONE BILLION DOLLARS. So did they get everything free or something?

Directed by: Penelope Spheeris
Starring: Diedrich Bader, Cloris Leachman, Jim Varney, Erika Eleniak
Continuity mistake: When the Clampetts are eating at the pool table, Tyler arrives and goes to kiss Elly May's hand. She flips him over and it appears that Tyler knocks a pool cue over on his way to the ground that was propped up against a wall unit. In the next shot, it is back in its place, and no one was seen to have picked it up.
Milburne Drysdale: I'm president of a bank.
Jethro: Wow, can I be president of a bank too?
Jed Clampett: Jethro that was a mighty disrespectful thing to say to Mr. Drysdale. Ask if you can be vice president.

Correction: The money would have been invested. Interest, dividends, and capital gains on that type of money could have easily paid for everything they bought.
