Continuity mistake: When Celine is watching Julie at the library, she is shown hiding her face behind a huge book, with her hands placed on top of the book. Her grasp on the book changes between shots. (00:18:49)
Continuity mistake: When Julie gets off the bench to chase after Celine, she grabs her bag strap with her left hand and places it over her left shoulder. In the next shot, her magic book and glasses are suddenly in her left hand, even though they weren't in her left hand in the previous shot. (00:04:07)
Continuity mistake: When Poupie says "I couldn't stand her" at the outdoor table, she raises the piece of toast she is holding. In this shot, the toast is level, but when the shot cuts, it is suddenly tilted upward slightly. (01:30:34)
Continuity mistake: When Julie is eating with her Poupie, just as Poupie says "Your father did well to leave", the bowl that Julie is holding is held with only her fingers. When the shot cuts, she is holding the bowl with her entire hands. (01:30:20)
Continuity mistake: When Guilou is saying "Josette was always after me, even in church after Mass", his forearm is placed over the back of the bench. When the shot cuts, his forearm is away from the back of the bench and his upper arm is leaning against it. (00:46:48)
Continuity mistake: When Madlyn hands Sophie the drawing she made, the paper is folded over at the middle. At first, the paper is held so that the fold is beneath Sophie's hand. But in a close-up of the paper, the fold is above Sophie's hand. (02:13:15)
Continuity mistake: When Guilou is speaking with Julie over the phone, in the shot where Julie says "Let me get a word in edgeways", she is holding the phone with four fingers, and has her little finger hanging off the phone. In the next shot, her little finger is suddenly placed over the phone. (01:50:50)
Audio problem: When Julie is on the phone with Guilou, it is clear that the audio heard isn't coming from the actual phone. It sounds more like the audio is coming from someone standing on the film set, off-screen, rather than the phone itself. (01:50:18)
Continuity mistake: When Poupie is telling Julie that after she left, her mother was very ill and everyone left, in the shot of where saying "No news of them", Julie's left hand is lowered. When the shot cuts to focus on Julie, her left hand is suddenly raised and holding a piece of toast. Continuity mistake: When Julie is hanging up the dolls at the bottom of the chalkboard, the photo of Guilou is tucked into the left-hand side of the chalkboard and is rotated at a 90 degree angle. Continuity mistake: When Celine says "So have I, not like this lot" while sitting at the table with her friends, there is a woman with short red hair sitting on her right. The woman is wearing a necklace, and the chain on the necklace changes position between shots. (00:57:45)
Continuity mistake: Whilst speaking with Guilou, in the shot where Celine says "Has the presbytery lost none of its charm", her left hand is pointed straight forward, but at a slightly downward angle. The shot cuts to focus on Guilou and her hand never changes position, but when it cuts back to focus on Celine, her left hand is pointed completely downwards. (00:46:55)
Continuity mistake: After Guilou has handed Celine the flowers, when he begins saying "Do you remember that Monday...", the flowers in Celine's hand are held at an upright angle, but in the next shot, the flowers are suddenly at a tilted angle. (00:46:20)
Continuity mistake: When Celine (as Julie) goes to sit down on the bench next to Guilou, she lifts up part of her gown before releasing her hand from it. When it cuts to a closer shot of the two as she sits down, she is still holding onto the gown. (00:45:56)
Other mistake: When Celine (as Julie) meets up with Guilou in the park whilst he is sitting on the bench, a man in a suit with a briefcase can be seen walking past in the background, who looks at the camera a couple of times while walking past. (00:45:50)
Continuity mistake: When Celine is looking through Julie's toy chest, she picks up a photo of the mansion which she places against the interior lid of the chest. She places her right hand over the photo, but the hand changes position when it cuts to a close-up of the photo. (00:44:05)
Continuity mistake: When Julie has finished wrapping the bandage around Celine's wound, her right hand can be seen grasping her thigh, but in the next shot, her right hand is away from her leg. (00:35:32)
Continuity mistake: Celine and Julie realise Madlyn is in the apartment with them and the two stand up. When the shot cuts, Julie's right hand is inside her shirt, even though it wasn't in the previous shot. (03:09:54)
