Continuity mistake: The rolled-up red blanket is behind the tan roll in the canoe when Saul is rowing away. When the camera shifts to a rear view, the rolled red blanket is mostly on top of the tan roll. (00:11:35)

Continuity mistake: When Saul was being driven away from the river embankment, there was no snow on the road (or indication that it had been plowed) or on the pine trees despite the heavy snowstorm overnight (and the amount accumulated in the woods). (00:17:13)

KeyZOid

Continuity mistake: The amount of snow accumulated after the overnight snowstorm was not consistent in expected height. When Saul and Naomi were walking through the woods, the snow was much higher than when they were climbing the embankment to get to the road. Parts of the rocks were bare instead of being completely covered with several inches of snow. (00:14:36 - 00:16:43)

Continuity mistake: The size/length of the canoe changes a few times. At the beginning of Saul and Naomi's trip, the canoe is shorter than it is the following day; there's more space in front of Saul and behind Naomi, although it is assumed they are sitting on stationary benches. As they continue on the river, the canoe gets shorter again. (00:11:40 - 00:12:10)

KeyZOid

Continuity mistake: When Saul and "Nookmis" (his grandmother Naomi) leave on the canoe, there are several blankets/rolls of food between them. The pile reaches to about Saul's waist in the canoe. When Saul and Naomi continue their canoe trip the following morning, the pile of blankets/rolls between them is higher (almost to Saul's shoulders) and the colors/sizes look different (larger, even though they obviously ate some food). (00:11:37 - 00:12:09)

KeyZOid

Jack Lanahan: You're gonna make it to the show and you'll be a role model for your kind.
Saul (22 Yrs.): My kind?
Jack Lanahan: Yes, an inspiration.
Saul (22 Yrs.): You don't know a damn thing about me.
Jack Lanahan: All I need to know is you got a gift like no other. I've seen you on the ice. I know what you can do, I know how it makes you feel, and I'm not blind to the fact that it's killing you not to play the way you can.
Saul (22 Yrs.): You got no idea what kills me or my kind, do you?
