Visible crew/equipment: When Will first drives out of the gas station frustrated the police aren't sending out a unit to him a police car is parked on the street in the background with its lights off. (Presumably stopping traffic in that lane for the scene). (00:14:40)
Continuity mistake: Will is at the police station reviewing the gas station camera footage. The first time they look at it there are two cars around the corner. The car she was taken in is the first one and behind it is a blue SUV. Then the camera view is blocked by a truck. The truck pulls away and the kidnapper's car is gone. About 10 seconds later they rewind the footage to get another look at the kidnapper but the vehicle that is behind the kidnapper's car is now a white truck. (00:27:52 - 00:28:17)
Revealing mistake: When Will got to Knuckles' and was walking past the driver's side window of his car after getting a crowbar out of his trunk, the instrument panel had one circle to represent the speedometer (similar to a clock) but no dial. (00:40:00)
Continuity mistake: Will was not wearing sunglasses when he walked up to Knuckles' fence to look between the boards. When the camera shifted to the opposite side of the fence, the person looking through the boards (presumably, Will) was wearing sunglasses. When the camera shifted back to the side of the fence Will was on, Will was not wearing sunglasses. (00:40:15)
Continuity mistake: When Will enters Knuckles' trailer, the blinds (behind the lamp) are pulled up half-way on the left side but dangling to the lower right-hand corner. After Knuckles tells Will to "calm down" and the camera returns to Will, the blinds appear to be down on both sides. Also, the gaps between the horizontal slats change from two gaps on the right side to two larger gaps across the width. After Will and Knuckles start fighting, the blinds are pulled diagonally like they initially were. (00:41:57 - 00:42:18)
Continuity mistake: When Will enters Knuckles' trailer, there's a large vertical hole/gap in the lamp's shade. Near the end of their fight, the hole should be visible but is not. (00:41:57 - 00:43:41)
Revealing mistake: When Will enters Knuckles' trailer, the inside front door is light-colored and has a diamond-shaped window. A little later, when Will is swinging the crowbar, the door behind him is dark-colored and - in a flash - the top of the diamond-shaped window spread out (forming almost the top half of a hexagon). [This happens very quickly, so you will probably need to watch several times (and on a large screen) to see the transformation.]. (00:42:03)
Revealing mistake: The blinds on the window near the TV are closed when Will first enters Knuckles' trailer. During their fight, the blinds appear to be either pulled up more than halfway or the center slats are overlapping. When Will goes back into the trailer after the fight outside, the blinds are halfway up. Although the fight in the trailer is fast, and they move around a lot, the objects in the room frequently vary, indicating use of a green screen. (00:42:06 - 00:44:37)
Revealing mistake: The objects outside of Knuckles' trailer when Will throws him out the front door change. Knuckles landed next to boards (box springs?) and a mattress, but when Will got behind Knuckles, there was a box and a garbage bag where the mattress was then the box and garbage bag disappear. (00:43:43)
Continuity mistake: After Will threw Knuckles out the front door and followed, the screened door started to close about halfway. When the fighting outdoors was almost over, the screened door was fully open (perpendicular to its frame). (00:43:46 - 00:44:11)
Other mistake: When the patrol officer had his siren on chasing Will's speeding SUV, there was a car in the left lane that was driving alongside the patrol car. Drivers are supposed to stop/pull over to let the officer pass. The driver could not know where the officer was going or be sure he was pulling over Will's car. (00:46:37)
Character mistake: The patrol officer who stopped Will for speeding fired two warning shots in the air when Will ran. Patrol officers should not (and generally do not) fire "warning shots." (00:49:57)
Revealing mistake: When Gerard Butler is driving to the warehouse to find Frank, the speedometer and the rev counter are on 0.
Suggested correction: I could not see Will's speedometer or tachometer (RPM gauge) during his drive to Frank's. What I did see (and believe you saw) was the patrol officer's instrument panel while he was parked along the road using radar. This was before he pulled out to chase Will's speeding SUV, so both gauges should have been on the far left (i.e, on "0"). [00:46:28].
Other mistake: Several scenes have palms in them or in the background. Story takes place in NH, so impossible for those trees to be there. Also, in the scene at their NH home out on the dock, their boat is registered in Georgia with the GA before the numbers clear as day.
Other mistake: When he is pumping gas the camera shows the rear of the Cadillac with a Georgia license plate underneath New Hampshire license plates.
Continuity mistake: While Will is in the meth lab he has two different handguns from shot to shot.
Other mistake: During the flash back when Will is talking to Lisa, the fin on the standup paddle board is around the wrong way.
