Character mistake: The handler tells ladybug that there are 10 economy and 6 first class carriages but when ladybug is trying to calculate the chances of finding the briefcase he starts with saying 6 economy carriages. (00:07:24 - 00:10:22)

Factual error: There's an early establishment of Tokyo, taken at street level, of a bullet train travelling left to right on a bridge above a street. This is immediately due west of Akihabara station and any image search will quickly confirm this. Only local commuter trains use this bridge. Also, no trains on that bridge go to Tokyo. The bridge runs east-west. Akihabara station is close to and directly north of Tokyo station, meaning any such train has an immediate 90 degree turn just right off screen. (00:07:25)

Continuity mistake: When Ladybug and Lemon first meet, Ladybug tells him he has a gun under the table, trying to hide the fact that he doesn't actually have a gun. However, in an outside window view shot, you can see both of Ladybug's arms on the table. (00:35:31)

Continuity mistake: When ladybug is sitting at the table with Lemon, and they start fighting over the pistol, Brad Pitt drops the gun's magazine out of the tub onto the floor. In the subsequent shuffle you see the bottom of the gun with a magazine still in it and immediately cut to it on the floor. The next shot after he grabs the magazine off the floor you see the gun with no magazine. (00:40:20)

Factual error: In one scene a phone call states that boomslang venom was used to kill a person. The caller states that the venom congeals the blood, makes a person exude blood from every orifice, and if an antidote is not administered in 30 seconds you are dead. A lot of this is wrong. The venom does make you eventually bleed profusely, but you have a 24-48 hour window to administer antivenom, and if it congealed the blood, it means it would make the blood clot, not make the person bleed. Suggested correction: Although I agree that "A lot of this is wrong", I don't entirely agree with your rationale and/or wording. It can take 24-48 hours (or even up to 5 days) to succumb to the Boonslang's bite, so I don't believe you have a 24-48 hour window to administer antivenom"; it would be too late to prevent death. "If it congealed the blood, it means it would make the blood clot, not make the person bleed" - yes and no. Venom causes both coagulation and hemorrhaging but in different areas of the body.

I used the information on the National Institutes of Health, nih.gov. I quote: "Traditionally, it has been taught that there is a window period of 24-48 h after a Boomslang bite to administer antivenom."

toroscan

Antivenom is at least worth a try.

KeyZOid

"Coagulation" is the preferred term when referring to blood. Although "congealed" is used, congealed typically refers to food substances that gel or harden.

I used the quotes given by the actors in the program. Congealed is what they said. Yet they also said the victim would bleed out. Confusing. Thanks for the info.

I was clarifying my substitution of the word "coagulation" for "congealed", not criticizing your usage of "congealed" (the word that was used in the movie). Yes, it is confusing! (You're welcome).

Factual error: A front view of the "Boonslang" snake with its mouth open shows fangs in front, but a Boonslang snake has back - or rear-fangs, meaning they are located further back in the mouth (near the jaw). The fangs should be below the snake's eyes, not near its nose. (01:11:15)

Factual error: The criminals are carrying ten million dollars on the bullet train. They have placed the case in a luggage rack from where it is taken. The case is about the size of a normal aluminium attaché case. The largest denomination US bill in circulation is the $100 bill. It weighs approximately one gram. Ten million dollars would be 100,000 grams, or just over 220 pounds of $100 bills. Way too much to even fit in the case, and much less weigh as little as the actors make it to be, moving it around the way they do. Gold would be even heavier.

Factual error: Mount Fuji lies near Tokyo. Yet you see Mount Fuji from the train between Nagoya and Kyoto. That is not possible.

Factual error: The real bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto only takes about 2 hours, rather than all night like the movie depicts.

Suggested correction: At the beginning of the movie, at the Tokyo Station, the train arrives at 4:45 am.

Factual error: During a fight, a person is thrown against a glass partition window and the glass shatters. Trains use toughened safety glass in their construction and would not shatter like that.

Tangerine: You still got that vest on, yeah?
Lemon: Nah, vests give you a false sense of security, I might get shot in the neck.
Tangerine: Yeah, it also stops you getting shot in the chest, but I guess you missed that episode of Thomas, did ya?
Lemon: I really must of, because that sounds dark as shit.

Trivia: Minor Spoilers: It is revealed at the end that Ladybug's handler is played by Sandra Bullock in a cameo. (Her voice is heard throughout the film, but she doesn't appear onscreen until the final scene.) Originally, the role was meant to be played by Lady Gaga in a cameo. However, scheduling conflicts with "House of Gucci" made this impossible.
