Continuity mistake: When Tom is playing the guitar, Jake comes over and moves his Tom's fingers in different spots to play a couple of chords. But in the next shots of Tom playing the guitar, he does not play any of the chords Jake showed him.

Tom finds the girl's body in a brick wall in the basement. When he finds her, he grabs her hand and finds out the killers were Adam and Kurt, the sons of his friend, Frank, and his landlord. Adam, Kurt, Frank and the landlord covered the murder to prevent their Adam and Kurt's life from being ruined. The landlord and his son try to kill Tom and his wife but Frank kills the landlord and his son. Afterwards, the ghost of the girl walk away happy and Tom and his family move out. The movie ends with hundreds of ghosts calling for Tom's son, Jake, to help them.
