Factual error: The opening shot is of a somewhat long and quite high bridge with an equally high waterfall behind it. After a couple views of the surroundings, Henry and Peter are standing in the middle (portion) of a stone barricade/wall (extension of the bridge?) with a huge lake behind it, waiting for the school bus. There's absolutely no legitimate or rational reason for such a location to be a school bus stop! School bus stops always have safety in mind, and this bus stop is anything but safe. (00:02:32)
The Book of Henry (2017)
1 factual error
Directed by: Colin Trevorrow
Starring: Naomi Watts, Jacob Tremblay, Jaeden Martell
Continuity mistake: In the treehouse, the contraption Henry built releases icing in a pile onto the top of the cupcake (or brownie) Peter is holding. When Peter moves the cupcake to his mouth, the icing is evenly spread in the middle. (00:07:04)
Susan Carpenter: I need a Nemesis Vanquish 7.62 with a Litton Ranger Night Vision scope, a suppressor and three extra ten-round detachable mags. Think you can handle that, or should I take my business elsewhere?
Big Ed: Suppressors are illegal for civilian use.
Susan Carpenter: Let's see what Dominic has to say about that? Yeah, Dominic. Look, chief, all due respect, I got a plane to catch. So why don't you just name your price and I'll get out of your hair?
Trivia: Was it absurd for Gregg Hurwitz to write that 11-year-old Henry bought his mother a new car? Believe it or not... NO! New York does not have a statute specifying a minimum age. Presuming Henry used cash (from his investments) to pay for the car, it was legitimate. Being able to buy a car regardless of one's age does not mean everything needed to USE the car will be doable. According to NY Vehicle Code, "You must be at least 16 to register a vehicle. You can title a vehicle at any age." (01:15:35)
