Continuity mistake: When Clarence is looking over the papers in the office, she picks up a Certificate of Tetanus Vaccination. In the close-up of the certificate, her right hand is touching the top right-hand side and her left hand is touching the bottom left-hand side, which she then moves to the middle of the bottom side. The next shot, her left hand is touching the top left side and her right hand is touching bottom right side. (01:04:42)
Continuity mistake: When Iniko walks into the office to see Clarence looking through it, Clarence is shown holding a binder when she turns to face him. The shot then cuts to an angle focusing on Iniko where he asks "Are you the new secretary" and we can see Clarence stays completely still. When the shot cuts back to Clarence, the binder is being held at a different position. (01:05:16)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence is being driven in the car, Iniko turns in a different direction to which Clarence was hoping. Iniko then says "I have to pick someone up from the airport" whilst looking straight forwards at the road. It then cuts to Clarence, and in the mirror, we can see the reflection of Iniko is now looking at Clarence. (01:06:25)
Continuity mistake: When Iniko is walking back to the car with Laha, in the shot of the two walking, Laha has his hand over Iniko's shoulder, which he then removes. It then cuts to a different angle with Clarence in the corner of frame, and Laha suddenly has his hand back around Iniko's shoulder again. (01:06:41)
Continuity mistake: When Laha is talking with Clarence in the car, asking why she is in the country, whilst he says "Businesswoman, engineer", he is shown moving his left hand around, asking for a hint. In the next shot, his left hand is suddenly resting flat on the head rest. (01:07:20)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence is in the car with Iniko and Laha, after Luca asks "What are you up to tonight", Clarence replies "Nothing" while still facing the two. When the shot cuts, she is suddenly looking downwards and then turns her head to face the two. (01:08:12)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence is walking along the street with Laha, there is a wide shot where a motorbike quickly drives past the two. In the wide shot, a group of three men can be seen standing next to the road in the background. There is a man in a red shirt who turns to face the motorbike. It then cuts to a closer shot of Clarence and Laha, where the man in the red shirt can still be seen in the background, now talking with the other two people in his group, paying no attention to the motorbike. Continuity mistake: When Clarence bumps into Mama Sade, in the shot of Sade asking "is there a problem", a boy in a striped blue shirt can be seen running behind her. The camera changes angles where the boy in the striped blue shirt can now be seen much further back, running past Clarence and Laha, and running past Sade a second time. (01:08:43)
Continuity mistake: When Mama Sade grabs onto Clarence's arm, Iniko attempts to intervene. In the shot of Iniko reaching his hand out to get Sade off her, Clarence and Iniko are standing side-by-side. The shot then cuts to a wider shot where Iniko is rotated 90° away from Clarence. (01:08:50)
Continuity mistake: When Mama Sade confronts Clarence on the street, she has her hands extended so that they are positioned on both sides of Clarence's face. In the shot of her saying "Someone I knew a long time ago", her hands are right next to Clarence's face, but when the shot cuts, her hands are lowered away from Clarence's face. (01:09:00)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence, Laha and Iniko are walking through the nightclub, at the end of first shot, Clarence is shown placing her left hand on her right arm. In the next shot, her left hand is at her side. (01:09:54)
Continuity mistake: Clarence is sitting at a table with a group of Iniko and Laha's friends. Everyone raises their bottles and Clarence clanks her glass against Laha's bottle, then slowly pulls the glass away, leaving it raised in her right hand, while her left hand is lowered. When the shot cuts, her left hand is holding onto the straw inside the glass and is suddenly drinking from it. (01:10:20)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence is sitting at a table in the nightclub, after everyone takes a drink, the straw in her glass is pointing to the left (from Clarence's POV), but in the next shot, the straw is suddenly pointing to the right. (01:10:26)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence is on the dance floor with Iniko, he places his hand over Clarence's eyes. Clarence then places her fingers flat over Iniko's hand. Then it cuts to a wider shot where Clarence's fingers are at a far more curled angle. Then her fingers are flat on Iniko's hand two shots later. (01:11:40)
Visible crew/equipment: When Iniko has finished driving the car into the forest so that he can take Clarence to the beach, there is a shot of Clarence looking at Iniko while he says "What are you waiting for? Get out." In this shot, the reflection of a crew member, most likely the cameraman, can be seen moving around in the wing mirror. It can't be Iniko because he is standing on the opposite end of the car. (01:15:00)
Continuity mistake: When Iniko gets out of the car after veering into the forest, in the shot of him telling her to get out, Clarence has her right hand raised so that it is placed on the roof handle. In the next shot, her right hand is suddenly lowered. (01:15:00)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence gets out of the car after Iniko drives it into the forest, she is holding onto her bag with her left hand. When the shot cuts, she is suddenly holding it in her right hand. (01:15:07)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence sees Iniko standing naked under the waterfall, she places her boots and her bag on the sand. She is wearing a shirt and shorts when she does this. She removes her shirt and is wearing only her underwear when she finishes taking it off, but she was never shown removing her shorts. The shorts are just suddenly off her completely. (01:17:07)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence and Iniko are having sex on the beach, in a close-up shot of the two kissing, Clarence begins to roll Iniko over, so she can go on top of him. When she begins to roll him over, Iniko has his left hand on the sand. It then cuts to a wide shot where his left hand is suddenly on her back. (01:17:50)
Continuity mistake: When Clarence and Iniko are standing naked on the beach after having sex, in the shot where she walks up to him, and she looks at his back, take note of her hair. The shot cuts to angle behind them, then cuts to a close-up of Iniko's back. When it cuts again, a couple strands of hair, slightly apart from the rest of her hair, can be seen going over Clarence's left shoulder that weren't there three shots prior. (01:18:12)
