Continuity mistake: In the airplane scene, when Tommy reaches for the life vest in the overhead bin, he uses his left hand. But it's in his right hand when he removes it.
Revealing mistake: When Tommy is trying to bend the car door back you can see a wire holding the door in place so that Tommy can hit it as hard as he wants and it won't go back in place.
Tommy: But the Callahan factory has been in my family for seventy years. You can't just shut it down.
Ray Zalinsky: Son, you got to look at it from my point of view. Callahan's a premium name. That's what I'm buying. I can make the parts in one of my factories, put them in a Callahan box, and sell them in my stores at a premium price. Why keep your factory going when all I want's the god damn box?
Answer: In that scene, that song is followed first by "It's the End of the World as we Know It (And I Feel Fine) " (R.E.M.) and then by "Eres tĂș" (Mocedades). Earlier, they sing "Superstar" (The Carpenters) just before the hood flies off.
