Continuity mistake: When Gray mentions "Karen from accounting" to Ellen during the first call, she has two fingers reaching around the microphone in the side view, but she is grasping the handset with all fingers together in the previous shot. (00:33:50)

Continuity mistake: Jake puts down the receiver after Gray's call got disconnected. The cord is towards him. When he walks towards the middle of the room to quarrel with Ellie, you can see the phone is turned the opposite way. The cord dangles in front of the counter now. (00:34:45)

Continuity mistake: When Ellie is cleaning up the room, at the very beginning of the scene the candles on the table are close in the sideview and more far apart in the birdseye view. (00:37:10)

Continuity mistake: Back in the kitchen, after hearing Ellen's silly egg story Debbie takes the station and starts telling her that she knows who she is. Necklace and apron are separated at first, one on top of the other at the cut. It happens again at the end of the conversation, when there's again the front view of both. (00:41:25)

Other mistake: When Ellen gets back to the inn after fetching the homeless guy, her coat has barely any snow on it when she enters. With the kind of snowstorm shown, she should have a ton of it. Same if not worse for Jake who came in before her. He has some snow on his arms, but none on his back - and he spent his time outside packing firewood with no time to wipe clean. (00:46:20)

Sammo

Revealing mistake: In the scene with the young mom settling in Ellen's room, the baby is crying loudly every single moment when their face is not shown. They don't move their arms or legs, their cheeks don't move, nothing about them is compatible with the canned cry put in editing. (00:49:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Ellen offers "Why don't you guys take the bed?", the mom turns around suddenly being all "Holy sh*t!", with nothing in hand. When she actually answers in the next shot, she is holding a pink garment. (00:50:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In the back room of the guest house, Ellen picks up the little notepad with Jake's sketch. She is holding it with the left hand in the top part and the right hand placed lower. When she says "That's adorable" she is holding it the opposite way, and at the cut is back as it was. (00:54:40)

Plot hole: Snow Falls is a minuscule town with no cell phone signal, one cab, a couple buses going in and out all day. A huge snowstorm has been announced, to the point that the Sheriff had to round people up and bring them to the shelters and Jake is housing real refugees from the storm. Later the same night, Jake and Ellie go for a walk in town, which has activity, all stores open, other people taking a nice stroll in the nice foamy fake snow. There shouldn't be a soul in that kind of small town in the middle of the night regardless, but after a storm even? (00:56:10)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ellen puts in the oven a tray; it has two gingerbread men with blue sprinkles in what is the bottom left corner (upper right of the screen). When she opens the oven, she pulls out a tray with gingerbread men that perfectly alternate between red and blue. (01:03:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ellen loads the biscuits in the trunk of the car as Debbie tells her about Mr. Martin. When she says "I will", her foulard is caught under the chain of her bag. In the reverse shot the foulard is draped above the chain and in different position. (01:03:45)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ellie hands the first leaflet picking it by the right side, but in close-up she's holding it from the top. (01:04:00)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: In her trip getting items from the local stores for the charity auction we see Ellie driving a car so stuffed with gifts that she needs to keep the trunk open. That's from the second store she is shown hitting. When she manage to extort a computer from the Apple store, the trunk is closed. (01:04:20 - 01:06:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ellie drives to the hotel a car loaded with gifts. Look at her scarf when she joins Jake and the sheriff in front of the building. Look at her after the cut showing the car. It's like she took her scarf off and wrapped it differently around her neck during that couple of seconds. (01:06:30)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ellen is surprised by Gray while she is hugging Jake. Eliza Taylor turned around in the first shot, head and body too, which moves to the side noticeably. But in the reverse shot she is still literally in Jake's arms. (01:07:40)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Ellie is about to tell Jake the truth about her, but he is called away to help fix some part of the stage. The woman with the cap is screwing the mock house roughly at the point where Jake is holding the column. At the cut her hand moved at the top of the archway. (01:13:00)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Gray blurts out at the bar Ellen's real name. Jake realises who she is, and there's a reaction shot of Gray realizing he messed up. The olive stick in his martini is in a different position than in the rest of the scene, so is the level of the drink. (01:20:05)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When Ellie puts on the front desk the box for Zeke, from behind she has her hands on top of it, but in the reverse shot she has her hands on the sides and only then she joins them together on top. (01:23:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: Debbie hands Ellie the oven mitts with her right hand, at the cut she is holding them in her left hand. (01:25:35)
