Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film Will Smith assassinates a supposed terrorist on a train, which is filmed on his accomplice's mobile phone. However, when shown the playback, the assassinated man is sitting on the wrong side of the train, or it is going in the opposite direction to the main clip. (00:04:02)

Continuity mistake: Outside of Pelican Point, Danny asks Henry why is he retiring. Will Smith's hand is at the level of his 4 buttoned shirt button as he sighs to reply, which he does in the following shot, where his hand is definitely held up higher. (00:17:45)

In the first shot she passes the box from her left hand to the right, in the next, Brogan points out that they are long expired while she is holding the box still in the left hand and a new cracker in the right. Continuity mistake: The first time we see Baron there is a little introductory dialogue with him. At the end he ask for one of Danny's (expired) crackers. He then turns around and her right hand rises to pick a new one - but in the next shot she is holding the box with that hand and the cracker is in her left. (00:27:55)
Factual error: During the bike chase, Henry is able to neutralize the first bike that Junior is riding. The bike falls down and explodes inches to the right of Henry's, who is riding at top speed, and is completely unfazed by it, does not even wobble. (00:39:15)
Revealing mistake: Henry is being chased by Junior on his second bike. In a POV shot as Junior crosses the bridge, you can see he is dodged by a guy wearing a yellow baseball bat and a red Hawaiian shirt. Only, in the reverse angle (the bike coming out of the bridge) the cap stays yellow but the shirt turned inexplicably grey. (00:39:30)
Continuity mistake: On his second bike, Junior passes a bridge, cuts a corner with an acrobatic jump and begins chasing Henry through a second bridge, longer, wider and crowded with people with hats and shirts.The position of a few of those guys (like the one with the green shirt) doesn't match between POV and reverse. Continuity mistake: Henry shoots the tire of a car to slow down his pursuing clone. Junior is trying to pass the car to the right as it sways out of control.The zone of asphalt he is speeding through is in the shadow, but at the next cut, when he actually manages to pass in ridiculous fashion, the road is uniformly lit. Other mistake: When junior is chasing Henry, Danny and Baron can be seen watching the chase, this would be impossible considering it wasn't long before Henry left the house after spotting Junior, and how would they have known which way Henry would go. (00:40:20 - 00:42:16)
Continuity mistake: When Will Smith's clone decides to try and kill him by beating him up with his bike, the shadows next to the car change wildly; it is particularly obvious when the middle-aged one springs into air from lying down on his belly into a huge shadow that just was not there. Continuity mistake: When Junior takes a swing at his 'dad' with the rear of his bike sending him flying against the car, notice how at the beginning of the shot with the camera positioned overhead the side mirror is folded, either to make the stunt easier or because during some take it was knocked back that way. The same mirror is in its normal outwards position in the rest of the scene. (00:40:50)
Continuity mistake: At the culmination of his bike-fu Young Will Smith torpedoes the motorcycles at his older self; the move initiates with a wind-up time marked by a huge skidmark on the asphalt. But in the next shot there's no mark, and the kamikaze run starts from a different point. (00:41:25)
Continuity mistake: Junior's DNA-laden baseball hat changes position on the ground the first two times it is shown, slightly, and it is in a different spot where big slabs of asphalt meet as Danny retrieves it. (00:41:30)
