Continuity mistake: The Vizier orders the Genie to change the princess' clothes into something else, and he magically poofs them into red silks. Next time we see her, she is back into the same clothing the Genie transmutated. (00:51:10 - 00:53:55)
Continuity mistake: Naveena's scarf opens up between shots when Aladdin asks her "Please" after her brother's death, and gets back wrapped around her neck when she slaps him. It keeps going back and forth during the scene. (00:57:50)
Revealing mistake: In the scene with Dariush sucked away by the dust devil, he is supposedly struggling with the pull of the whirlwind as he clings to a plant, but you can see his arms bent and the bushes undisturbed. (00:53:20)
Continuity mistake: Aladdin has destroyed the last of the illusionary lamps; In the side view he puts the wand vertical and holds it with the left hand above the right hand. Cut, and it's the exact opposite. (00:20:15)
Continuity mistake: The genie poofs Aladdin's friends into a room. During that scene, Naveena's hair is styled differently depending on the shot angle. It either has visible bangs, or does not. (00:40:35)
Continuity mistake: Aladdin wakes up in the cave after the Vizier shoved him in. Kneeling, he picks up the lamp with his right. "This makes you Sultan?" he asks, with the lamp in his left. (00:22:50)
Continuity mistake: When Aladdin deals with the three objects in front of the tic-tac-toe pattern, the ones which have vases on top with arms have a different orientation in every shot. (00:16:45)
Revealing mistake: "Prince Ali" descends on a magic carpet surrounded by fireworks...in a hall that is roughly 20 feet high. The scene is played 'straight' and not as parody. (00:39:10)
Continuity mistake: The genie changes Aladdin's clothes into those of a prince (so we are told), but his face remains dirty. Except in the close-ups, when it's nice and clean. (00:33:25)
Continuity mistake: A tipsy Aladdin asks during the banquet "How do you know our songs?" He is holding his wine glass in the left hand, it was in his right a moment before. (00:29:15)
Continuity mistake: Aladdin hopscotches through the lava pit; he has no wand in hand when viewed from behind, but in close-ups he is firmly holding it in his left. (00:18:00)
Revealing mistake: When Aladdin's friend pops out of a window, the CGI effect used given the lack of a real palace set built is of questionable quality. (00:42:20)
Revealing mistake: In the middle of the desert banquet scene, sand is lifted off the ground a second before the genie belches. (00:29:40)
Revealing mistake: A basket with fireworks catches fire. When the basket is flung into the air, they forgot to add the CGI for it, so it's not burning at all. But the effect is there in the second shot, when Aladdin bicycle kicks it away. (00:06:00)
