Question: What is that moving "thing" on the dinner table, after crowning Dani as the new queen? It looks like a living, breathing blob.
Answer: Some of the food props were meant to have a grotesque nature to them and not a real dish. I believe what you're asking about was made using a Hårga cake in the crude shape of a person. But the moments of the flowers and food in the scene were meant to represent a drug-induced hallucination.
Continuity mistake: When Christian takes out his phone to look up Attestupan, he is holding it with his right hand and his left index finger is lightly touching it. Then it cuts to a close-up shot of the phone and it is being held with both hands. (00:57:00)

Trivia: During the feast in which Christian finds a pubic hair inside of his food, look closely at the drinks on the table. While the camera never calls direct attention to this, if you look closely, Christian's drink is very slightly darker than everyone else's. Earlier in the film, the camera briefly passes over a mural that depicts a woman collecting menstrual blood in a cup. (Along with the image of a woman cutting off pubic hairs, like the one Christian found in his food.) It seems Christian's drink has been laced with something he didn't expect.

Answer: The once every 90-year festival is a special festival that also includes a May Queen. But they still have other regular festivals. We're told that every mid-summer, they have a dance competition where the winner is crowned the May Queen.
