Continuity mistake: When Tom walks up to the cowgirl in his cowboy suit, he has a lasso in his right hand, but after he has rolled tobacco on the cigarette paper, he lifts up his right hand but the lasso has gone.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the cartoon, Tom lifts a flower pot to reveal a cowering Jerry. But after Tom has caught Jerry with his lasso, he pulls him back but the flower pot is nowhere to be seen.

Factual error: When Tom is singing "If You're Ever Down In Texas" to the cowgirl, Jerry winds the crank on the Victrola counter clockwise.
