Continuity mistake: When Ben's friend Miles goes "Wowza!" at his hot funeral day, Ben's tie is inside the jacket, while it's over the jacket in the rest of the scene. (01:20:05)
Continuity mistake: When Ben and Fiona walk together inside the funeral home, in the first wide angle of the interior, Fiona is holding the program facing towards her, and the first person (the closest to the aisle) on the back bench to the left is looking to his right, engaged in conversation with the couple. Cut, and Rene Russo is holding the paper making it face outwards, and the guy is looking forward, on his own. (01:19:40)
Continuity mistake: At the bar, Jules addresses Lewis and passes him the second tequila. Lewis picks the lime slice with his right hand, but in the next shot he is holding the glass in his right and the lime in his left. Similarly, Davis' glass is capped by the lime and then all of a sudden it is not. When she calls the shot saying "Salut!", the camera angle is the same as the first time and so Davis' lime is back and Lewis' switched back to the original hand too. Anne Hathaway's tequila switches hand a moment later as she goes "Boys, what can I say", as well. (01:15:55)
Continuity mistake: When Jules at the bar asks "What are your names again?" she does it pointing her finger at the interns. Immediately after, she has both hands open and palms up. (01:15:25)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the fetch quest for the computer, Davis in the opening shot of the car is sitting in the back seat, the belt away from the collar of his shirt. Close-up and the collar is all squished against the seatbelt. (01:10:30)
Continuity mistake: When Jules walks into the emergency meeting with the tech guys saying "Hey guys, thanks for coming", seen from behind she has her fists down her sides, from the front she's rubbing her hands in front of her chest. (01:09:25)
Other mistake: Jules is watching the activity on their website in real time with her staff, over a map of the United States. It's a map that dynamically changes every few moments, with the views stat increasing by a few units per second, and icons of shopping carts popping over the map. That's in close-up, because when Ben arrives and the screen is in the foreground slightly out of focus, the page is static, no new views and no little cart landmarks for the duration of his report. Character mistake: Ben convinces Becky to let him work with her using the line he heard from Jules' mother, but he says it wrong; she said that women who sleep less than 7 hours per night are 38% more likely to gain weight, and De Niro says that they gain 38% more weight - kind of a big difference. Continuity mistake: Ben has been transferred back to his original position, much to Becky's dismay. Jules drops by to check on the relocation; she is holding the corporate coffee cup with her hand in a different position on it depending on the shot. (01:00:45)
Continuity mistake: Jules is helping Ben set his Facebook page. When she asks about religious views and such, Ben's bottle of Stella Artois on the desk faces opposite directions between shots. Then he tells her that he finds her inspiring. She drinks her beer as she replies, and the label directly faces the camera under both angles. (00:53:45)
Continuity mistake: Jules brings her kid to school; in the wide shot there's another kid that walks behind Paige and her and eventually reaches the school's gate, but in the next shot she has to do it all over again. (00:44:45)
Continuity mistake: When Jules gets in bed with her husband (somehow she wasn't snoring earlier), she exchanges a few words with him and even mentions watching something on Netflix. During this scene her hands change position on the laptop depending on the camera angle. (00:39:10)
Continuity mistake: When Matt asks Jules to turn off the light on her bedstand, she holds his hand above the wrist, or hand in hand depending on the angle. (00:40:35)
Continuity mistake: Ben is driving Jules for the first time. She is talking to her mom on the phone. The mother mentions research. The conversation is in continuity across shots, but Anne Hathaway's fingers on the phone first, then her hair, change position. (00:32:10)
Continuity mistake: When Fiona gives her card to Ben, two coworkers in the background part ways. De Niro pockets the card, and the two are still there checking the same dress out and chatting. (00:29:30)
Continuity mistake: Both Davis and Ben's personal items keep changing position on the desk when they pull them out from their bag and suitcase as they await their first ever assignment. (00:14:50)
Continuity mistake: Ben is getting ready for the first day as an intern. On his bed stand he sets up both alarm clocks, a remote control and a wristwatch. They change their respective distance from the edge depending on the camera angle. (00:12:35)
Continuity mistake: In the intro of the movie, De Niro mentions visiting funerals. This sequence comprises two angles; when the camera is behind De Niro, you can see that the grey haired guy he sits next to in the second angle is sitting at the far right of the church bench, his elbow is even sticking out. In the second, he's already sitting at the center so that there's room for him. (00:02:20)
Audio problem: Jules had one drink too many and she falls back slurring "Thanks agaaaaain" - her lips however don't move, it was dubbed over. (01:17:40)
Continuity mistake: Jules reacts to Ben's answer about his previous job asking "phone books?" She already cocked her head in the previous shot (when he said "Dex One"), but she does it again, and when the camera is back on the previous angle, the further change of position is not registered. She also holds the pizza slice at a different height depending on the angle. (00:51:50)
