Continuity mistake: When Martin Short climbs over the hood of the Jeep, he knocks the windshield glass completely out of the frame. A minute later, the glass is installed as normal.

It's a comedy, but the ending is quite sad. The unlucky guy finally meets the unlucky girl, they talk, smile at each other, hold hands, then happily go to the bridge overlooking the quiet river. Once they get to the end of the bridge, it falls off into the river and they happily float away. The camera then pans out, revealing that they are heading toward a giant waterfall. End credits.
