Corrected entry: In the first edition printing of The Stand, Harold and Frannie are tracked by the Payday candy bar wrappers that Harold is constantly eating. Frannie then discovers that Harold has read her journal because of the chocolate finger prints on the pages. While the Payday candy bar has been around since 1932, it has never included chocolate as an ingredient.
Factual error: In Chapter 68, Trashcan Man finds a BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle) in a guard booth outside a nuclear storage facility in mid 1990. The BAR was phased out of US military service in the mid 1950's.
