Continuity mistake: The duct tape placed over the cut on the Janitor's left cheek is inconsistent in appearance many times. Initially, the piece of duct tape torn off the roll has a small piece missing on the lower right-hand corner that isn't there afterwards. Sometimes the lower edge of the duct tape is rippled (wavy), other times it is flush with the skin. (00:23:11 - 00:27:11)
Continuity mistake: On her first day back in school, Rain is wearing sneakers it without socks. Later, on her way home from the pharmacy after school, she's suddenly wearing socks. The rest of her outfit (plus a jacket) is identical. (00:13:05 - 00:18:35)
Continuity mistake: While driving the spaceship, Lt Astrid's hair keeps switching back and forth from her long parted strand hanging loose in front to being secured (hairsprayed?) diagonally near her right ear. (00:20:50 - 00:22:30)
Continuity mistake: Sharyn's top sheet was messy and wrinkled underneath her while she was sitting on her bed, but the sheet was smoother and the top part was folded over/down after the doctor left and she returned from pounding on the door. (00:07:26 - 00:08:28)
Continuity mistake: Vampires don't like sunlight, but when Nathan was walking toward Elaine, the sun was shining through the windows on him. When the camera shifted to Elaine, the curtains/blinds behind her were closed, which would not enable enough sunlight to penetrate into the room and onto Nathan like it did. When Nathan was sitting on his bed, the sun was shining on him again. (00:54:00 - 00:54:45)
Continuity mistake: Although the amount of alcohol remaining in the bottle had been slightly reduced, the reduction was too negligible to have filled the Game Master's glass to the level shown after his telephone call to Sienna. (00:06:57 - 00:08:46)
Continuity mistake: Right before Fiona "makes her water fly", Claire's glasses of cola and water are close to it. In an aerial view, Claire's glass of cola is more to her right and her glass of water is no longer there. (00:53:28)
Continuity mistake: The dead rabbit was thrown onto its left side with its back almost parallel to the table's edge (width) and its nose/head almost in the corner. There was a bowl of several brown eggs several inches away from the rabbit's stomach. When the camera shifts, the rabbit's head has shifted at an angle away from the corner, its rear feet are slightly hanging over the table's edge (length), the bowl of eggs is touching the rabbit's stomach, and the eggs are piled on the opposite side of the bowl. Continuity mistake: When the terrorists take over the plane we see Eightball brutally stab a secret agent to death, and he gets blood on his face and clothing. In many scenes after this the position and amount of blood can be seen changing.
Continuity mistake: The bull horns and skull attached to the front of Doug's SUV were much larger on his way to the site than when he pulled up to the meeting spot. Initially, the horns spanned past the low beams, but were some distance from the low beams on each side when he arrived. The overall size of the skull was noticeably smaller and looked less menacing. Continuity mistake: Eddie meets Anne at L'Araignee ("The Spider") and hugs her. His hand is at the top of her shoulder, middle of the back, top of the shoulder again. (00:18:45)
Continuity mistake: Annie's car's steering wheel is on the left side, but her dashcam showed her on the right side. Both hands appeared to be on/near the steering wheel (not adjusting the dashcam), followed by a brief view of her right hand playing on a keyboard, then returning to Annie who was now on the left side with her left hand on the steering wheel and a cigarette in her right hand. Also, when Annie was on the right side driving, there was no overhead light on above her head, but there was after she moved. (00:15:32 - 00:16:02)
Continuity mistake: Views of Paul falling (pushed) down the stairs showed different positions from the top of the stairs, the landing, and from the downstairs floor. His back ended up on the landing with his legs bent and feet on the third step. (The form/size of the step itself was awkward - there wasn't enough room for Paul's whole foot.) A view from the top of the steps showed his left leg on the landing, bent with his foot under his right leg, which was on the step. A side view showed yet another position. (01:33:33)
Continuity mistake: The choke chain collar on Mr. Bojangles was pulled snug against his neck with several inches of the chain hanging, then ends of the choke chain were hanging around his neck as loosely as possible (similar to wearing a necklace). A little later, Mr. Bojangles' choke chain was pulled snug against his neck like earlier - but choke chain collars do not tighten on their own. (00:35:05 - 00:36:08)
Continuity mistake: Chris had strands of his bangs hanging down on his forehead but not a second later when the camera panned to a wider view to include all the group of employees. (00:30:44)
Continuity mistake: Sitting (immobile) on the chair, the position of Humpty's head changed a few times. Sometimes his head was facing forward but other times it was at an angle. The height on Humpty's head relative to the top of the back of the chair also changed - from about 3" below to 4" above to approximately.even and 1-2" below. The size of Humpty's head also looked bigger at times. (00:41:31 - 00:44:59)
Continuity mistake: The width and height of the (CGI) flames in George's burn barrel varied with who/what was being filmed (e.g, George sitting or standing). (00:17:45 - 00:20:27)
Continuity mistake: When Fenn finds the doll in the tree trunk cavity, shadows are cast in several different (contradictory) directions. If Fenn's shadow was in front of him, he was walking west toward the dead tree; north would be to his right. Examples: The tree's trunk and one branch were casting shadows to the south moments earlier and Geary and the tree were casting shadows to the northwest a little later. Geary's shadow was cast westward when Fenn took his photo with the doll. (00:04:28 - 00:06:47)
