Z (2019)

Plot hole: Dr. Seager told Beth that "It [Z] was all in her head" and only she could stop it. How, then, did her son Josh have the same "imaginary friend Z"? Moreover, if Beth had Z as a friend when she was eight years old, why didn't she remember him or have her memory jogged when Josh first told her about his friend Z? Also, if Beth told Z that they would be together forever (get married and have a lot of kids), why would Z need to go through Josh to get to her?

Plot hole: Calvin's mom told him to go to school and "the school called and said you only been showing up for lunch." In the street, Calvin yelled, "Everybody, I'm going back to school. I'm going back." Calvin was not interested in school, so it is highly unlikely that he would be planning on going to college. There was little or no reason for him to take the 2-hour? PSAT or SAT. Plot hole: In the final act of the movie, Detective Davis (Chadwick Boseman) apparently says he already disclosed the content of the USB drives while arresting Detective Burns (Sienna Miller). He later leaves her to some other police officers came to the house, and because he does so without giving any explanation, we are left to assume they came to arrest the dirty cops. This does not make any sense at all. If the content of the drives was already out in the world and enough to incriminate all the dirty cops, why wait for Captain McKenna (J. K. Simmons) in his own house, I assume without a warrant, and cause all that shootout and blood spillage? Why not just let the justice machine do its due course? What Detective Davis did is not within the rule of law.

Plot hole: The judge was reading from a newspaper that had "New York" and 2015 on the last page, suggesting this is the movie's setting. The article states, " The murderer of the Jeeter girl was executed this morning..." (six years after his conviction in 2009). New York's death penalty was ruled unconstitutional in 2004 and 2007 and is considered abolished. (Although the law remains on the book, it cannot be implemented until/unless it is revised/ rewritten to be constitutional). (00:16:11 - 00:33:28)

Plot hole: The movie takes place over a period of a couple of months (from full-grown pears to harvest time). Grandpa may be in arrears with the bank when he dies, but the bank cannot repossess and sell the orchard/farm within such a short period of time. The property has to go through probate, which can take several months, if not 1-2+ years. Determining the validity of the will and issues related to minor Andy inheriting the estate takes much more time to settle.

Plot hole: Aladdin and Zamir plan how to infiltrate the castle. There's a window that "seems particularly inviting" in their words. "A man standing on another man's shoulders should be able to make it without effort", Zamir says. So we see Aladdin land inside. And then, Zamir. Whose shoulders did Zamir climb to make the jump? It was just the two of them. (00:59:40)
