Deliberate mistake: An LAPD cop discharges his firearm a full size Glock which has a minimum magazine capacity of 13+1 for the Glock 21. The Glock 21 is approved LAPD issue along with other variants. He fires maybe three shots and the slide locks back signalling that it's dry. A second later the same cop is walking with the same empty Glock aimed towards the suspect which was shot at. It's visible that the slide is being held back by the slide stop since the magazine went dry. (01:29:58)
Factual error: The movie is set in Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) in 1825. Throughout the movie, in scenes where Clare talks to the aboriginal tracker, Billy, subtitles state that they are speaking in Palawa Kani. Palawa kani was developed in the 1990s by the language program of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, more than 165 years after the movie.
Other mistake: At the end of the movie Lorraine has to remind Elise that she helped her once, implying they haven't seen, or spoken since. When Elise first meets Josh in the 1st insidious she tells Josh that her and Lorraine have been friends for a long time, implying they talk or see each other regularly.
Suggested correction: That's debatable as the word "friend" does have to do with semantics. I have friends I have not spoken to in a long time, or speak with rarely, but still consider them friends due to our history. Others would say that's not a friend as that's not what they think of when they hear the word "friend." So it does depend on the individual person. It's also quite possible this is what they told Josh as the cover story for why she was contacted since they initially didn't want him to remember his past.
Deliberate mistake: Earl attended the "2005 National Daylily Convention." The wording is not accurate, perhaps for purposes of brevity. There is no "National Daylily Society", but there is an "American Daylily Society." Likewise, there is no "National Daylily Convention", but there is a "National Convention for the Daylily Society." Continuity mistake: After a camera shift while talking to Mr. C, Chris' jersey was pulled down more over his pants (lap), but his hands were pre-occupied playing with the string on his hooded sweatshirt. (00:06:35 - 00:06:58)
Factual error: Cat Rivers is flying the R44 helicopter from the left seat. The R44 is a single pilot helicopter fitted with dual controls. Two collective levers may be installed (the left is removable) but the cyclic control is not of a conventional nature. This comprises a central stick terminating in a pivoting T bar, which only allows one of the pilots at any one time to control the cyclic with the hand grip in the 'normal' position. The R44 is normally flown from the right seat; it is possible to fly from the left seat and instructors regularly do so. Students and low experience pilots would normally only fly from the right seat, and are discouraged from flying from the left seat when with friends. This is because of the unusual cyclic control configuration and, to some extent, the different instrument scan and visual references for hovering when flying. (00:14:40)

Continuity mistake: Ron Perlman and Famke Janssen are having dinner on his supposed birthday. The whole meal has several continuity errors, with her fork being at different heights, sometimes replaced by the wine glass, etc. (00:34:30)
Continuity mistake: Susan meets backstage Dr. Mitch. He states the obvious saying that she looks alike her twin sister, just more confident, and she cuts him off saying that she knows. She was leaning back with her hands as support, and at the cut she replies to him with her hands joined at the front. (00:09:45)
Factual error: The opening scene shows Cassie and Bryan booking their holiday on a laptop. The dates that they book the holiday home are between May 5th 2018 and May 12th 2018, which means the movie is set in 2018. But later in the movie, when Cassie finds the video of Bryan with the two women on his phone, the date is listed as "Sunday, May 7", and May 7th 2018 was a Monday, not a Sunday. (00:01:05 - 01:10:55)
Continuity mistake: The clothes Tyler and Kassi were wearing at Kassi's house were not the same when Kassi came to dinner that day at the Burnside's house. It seems unlikely that BOTH would change clothes before dinner. (00:31:49 - 00:32:40)
Suggested correction: Apparently they did. It was probably Tyler's idea, presenting Kassi in the best possible light to assuage suspicion and maintain his image as a good Christian Boy Scout.
Continuity mistake: When young Tiffany is eating ice cream at a restaurant, the amount of ice cream left in the clear glass bowl increases after she eats more. The ice cream in the bowl starts out being about half-full, goes down to less than one-fourth, and returns to about half-full again. (01:02:47 - 01:03:19)
Continuity mistake: The middle curtain on the passenger side of the RV is pulled open to different extents (toward the sides) when Drake is snooping around. Depending on the camera's view, maybe a foot of the curtain can be seen to the right. The other views show much more of the curtain, indicating it is not pulled to the side as far (and might possibly be closed). When a larger amount of the curtain is showing, there is also a small section of a pleat partially on the sill. (00:04:00 - 00:04:27)
Continuity mistake: When Lukas is looking in the bathroom mirror, the upper half of his laceration looks about three times the width of the lower half. When he exits the bathroom, the laceration looks like one line with the same width. (00:15:45)
Continuity mistake: Mrs. Marsh carries two plates with food to the table and starts to place the plate in her right hand in front of Mr. Marsh, but when the camera shifts, she is placing Jonathan's plate in front of him (and it appears she is doing so with her right hand, not the left hand she was holding Jonathan's in). Continuity mistake: When Lucas exits the bar, the Toyota truck appears to be parked close to the porch, but there's a lot more space between them during and after the fight. (00:17:39 - 00:18:46)
Other mistake: A female bull shark has between 1-13 pups. The exact number in the movie is questionable (due to their speed), but appeared to be well over the maximum 13 and perhaps closer to double this amount.
