Deliberate mistake: An LAPD cop discharges his firearm a full size Glock which has a minimum magazine capacity of 13+1 for the Glock 21. The Glock 21 is approved LAPD issue along with other variants. He fires maybe three shots and the slide locks back signalling that it's dry. A second later the same cop is walking with the same empty Glock aimed towards the suspect which was shot at. It's visible that the slide is being held back by the slide stop since the magazine went dry. (01:29:58)
Factual error: The movie is set in Van Diemen's Land (now Tasmania) in 1825. Throughout the movie, in scenes where Clare talks to the aboriginal tracker, Billy, subtitles state that they are speaking in Palawa Kani. Palawa kani was developed in the 1990s by the language program of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, more than 165 years after the movie.
Other mistake: At the end of the movie Lorraine has to remind Elise that she helped her once, implying they haven't seen, or spoken since. When Elise first meets Josh in the 1st insidious she tells Josh that her and Lorraine have been friends for a long time, implying they talk or see each other regularly.
Suggested correction: That's debatable as the word "friend" does have to do with semantics. I have friends I have not spoken to in a long time, or speak with rarely, but still consider them friends due to our history. Others would say that's not a friend as that's not what they think of when they hear the word "friend." So it does depend on the individual person. It's also quite possible this is what they told Josh as the cover story for why she was contacted since they initially didn't want him to remember his past.
Deliberate mistake: Earl attended the "2005 National Daylily Convention." The wording is not accurate, perhaps for purposes of brevity. There is no "National Daylily Society", but there is an "American Daylily Society." Likewise, there is no "National Daylily Convention", but there is a "National Convention for the Daylily Society." Continuity mistake: When Steve opens the RV window for Olivia, he reaches at the center to unlatch the pane in order to slide it to the left; the right side of the window is still closed or immobile. A little later when Olivia is right next to the window, there is one pane that slides to the left, there is a screen, and the thin aluminium frame is much wider. Factual error: Cat Rivers is flying the R44 helicopter from the left seat. The R44 is a single pilot helicopter fitted with dual controls. Two collective levers may be installed (the left is removable) but the cyclic control is not of a conventional nature. This comprises a central stick terminating in a pivoting T bar, which only allows one of the pilots at any one time to control the cyclic with the hand grip in the 'normal' position. The R44 is normally flown from the right seat; it is possible to fly from the left seat and instructors regularly do so. Students and low experience pilots would normally only fly from the right seat, and are discouraged from flying from the left seat when with friends. This is because of the unusual cyclic control configuration and, to some extent, the different instrument scan and visual references for hovering when flying. (00:14:40)
Continuity mistake: Susan meets backstage Dr. Mitch. He states the obvious saying that she looks alike her twin sister, just more confident, and she cuts him off saying that she knows. Continuity mistake: After Lucas was attacked and knocked unconscious by the two bar patrons, his feet were near the Toyota's driver's side front tire and his body was past the Toyota. Katya's view from inside her vehicle shows the front of the Toyota truck angled away from the porch and Lucas' body is angled more toward the steps to the bar (and porch) than Katya's car like they were. Continuity mistake: In the basement when the girls are talking, one mentions to Chloe that she and Carl would make an adorable couple. Chloe's left arm is stretched up above her head in this shot. Continuity mistake: When Nick Cage and the woman get to her place and start to make out, he takes her bra off, leaving her bare chested as he fondles her. It cuts to a different angle as they are kissing and suddenly her bra is back on again, only to be gone in the following shot.
Continuity mistake: When Jason lunges at Batman with his knife, there is a pile of garbage by the wall where he lands. In the first shot the barrel by the garbage is wooden. But in the next shot it's suddenly a metal barrel/drum. It then changes back to a wooden barrel again. (00:04:20)
Visible crew/equipment: During the opening while Ray and Maggie are driving at night, you can see the lighting equipment for the green screen reflected in Ray's glasses. And throughout the entire movie, these green screens and other production lights can be seen reflected in his glasses in several different scenes. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: After a camera shift while talking to Mr. C, Chris' jersey was pulled down more over his pants (lap), but his hands were pre-occupied playing with the string on his hooded sweatshirt. (00:06:35 - 00:06:58)
Factual error: An ambulance is shown. This movie is supposed to take place in a latin country. But the ambulance says "Ambulance" in English, and worse, it also says "Riverside County." Also, the red cross emblems on the attendants' backs say "Comite" in Spanish, "International" in English, and "Geneve" in French. (00:28:55)
Other mistake: A female bull shark has between 1-13 pups. The exact number in the movie is questionable (due to their speed), but appeared to be well over the maximum 13 and perhaps closer to double this amount. Continuity mistake: Constance is hugging Mary. In the close up shot, Constance is wearing a round sky blue earring. In the long shot, the earring is not seen even though her ear is fully facing the camera. (00:27:45)

Continuity mistake: When young Tiffany is eating ice cream at a restaurant, the amount of ice cream left in the clear glass bowl increases after she eats more.
