Continuity mistake: At the cemetery, when Harry is trapped at the statue, Voldemort raises his right arm and places his finger on Harry's forehead stating, "I can touch you now." While Voldemort's arm remains raised his sleeve slides down towards his shoulder, but is back up at his elbow in the close-up. He seems to have the same problem in other shots during this scene. Continuity mistake: In the scene where John commits suicide by slitting his wrist, the soles of his shoes go from brand new and unmarked (quite clearly seen in a couple of close up shots) to scuffed and worn (also seen quite well in a couple of shots). (01:34:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mike Teavee has smashed up the red pumpkin-looking thing, he smashes it cleanly into two or three quite big pieces. When his father says "Mike, please" the pieces behind him are much smaller and all over. (00:41:35)
Continuity mistake: When Anakin is in the medical centre lying on his back being transformed into Darth Vader, you can see the main part of the mask being lowered into place but Anakin is not wearing the neck section of the mask that it connects to. We then see the main part lowering directly downwards, in the next shot the neck section is in place. (02:01:20)
Revealing mistake: When Jimmy attempts to kill himself, the bullet hole on his back is far above where he shot himself in the chest. At least 4-6 inches higher, AND the gun was slanted downward.
Continuity mistake: In the fight between Barkis and Victor in the church, Victor slashes at Barkis with the fork and leaves 3 very noticable tears in Barkis' jacket. These tears aren't seen in any of the subsequent shots. (01:09:15)
Continuity mistake: When Sharkboy and Lavagirl burst into the classroom looking for Max, there is writing on the blackboard ("Science, Chapter Two") written in yellow chalk. Strangely, later in the scene the writing is now written in white chalk, and the handwriting of the text is noticeably different. Then, later it goes back to yellow! (00:16:45 - 00:17:40)
Continuity mistake: After Evangeline has left with Aunt Adelaide, Nanny McPhee enters the children's room, and as she and Chrissie walk to the bed they pass Eric's, Lily's and Tora's beds, with the bare wood floor at the center - there is no rug. However, when Nanny McPhee leaves their room the long red and white rug is at the center of the floor, between all the beds. (00:51:55 - 00:52:55)
Continuity mistake: When the Pevensies are playing hide-and-seek, there's a shot of Lucy running up the stairs. If you look closely, she is wearing the dress that she wears in her third time to Narnia, not the dress that she was wearing when she goes through the wardrobe into Narnia for the first time. Continuity mistake: When The Thing gets his pancakes served the butter on top of them change position between shots. (01:11:40)
Continuity mistake: After Danny gets mad at Walter for catching the ball that his Dad threw for him, he throws his glove down on the floor and runs inside. In the next shot the glove is in a different location.
Continuity mistake: When Elizabeth is just waking up from her coma, there is an oxygen tube right next to her head on the pillow. This tube moves in the next shot. (01:19:15)
