Continuity mistake: When Jack speaks to Michael and Jin, as they build the raft, and then when he walks up the beach and inquires about Sawyer's trouble with his head, the backpack that Jack carries on his back is nylon, black/green with white trim. Yet, when Sawyer asks, "Sensitivity to light, that bad?" the backpack is suddenly transformed into solid black leather, of an entirely different style. Continuity mistake: When Cassie is in the headmaster's office, her red pencil case keeps changing position from being held up clutched to her chest with her folder, to being in her lap.
Continuity mistake: Bob Fossil records Howard saying "Gorilla" on his talk box, which Howard does with a downward inflection at the end of the word. However, every time Fossil plays back Howard's "Gorilla", it has an upwards inflection at the end of the word.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mr. H. Makes Bloo wash his hands, Mr. H takes off his gloves and washes his hands then dries them. Notice that as soon as he takes his hands out from underneath the towel his gloves are back on.

Factual error: There is a view of the night sky in southern Africa. However, both the Big and Little Dippers (along with Polaris) are visible. In general, these constellations are not visible in the southern hemisphere, and where they are (North of 1° South latitude) they are very close to the horizon. The Big Dipper (Ursa Major) is to the left of the screen and Polaris (part of the Little Dipper = Ursa Minor) in near the top-center. This occurs shortly after the lion cub scene. (00:44:00)
