Continuity mistake: When the big dog points his gun towards the hole in the log, the length of the log changes between shots.
Revealing mistake: When Mr. Peabody is fishing, it is obvious that he is in a boat on the floor of a studio. Rear-screen projection is used to show the ocean behind him, but while he is standing in the boat and trying to reel in his catch, the boat is absolutely motionless.
Continuity mistake: When Sylvester (dressed as a cleaner) sneaks up on Tweety's cage to capture the bird, he puts his dustpan and brush next to the cage. But when we see Tweety standing next to the cage, the dustpan and brush have gone.

Factual error: At the start of the film the father (Cedric Hardwicke) alights from a LNER suburban train then walks to his Wimbledon home. The film is set in 1913 but the LNER was not formed until 1923. That apart, LNER suburban services did not serve Wimbledon. A few scenes later the father and mother are sending off their son at Liverpool Street Station on his journey to Osborne Royal Naval College at Dartmouth. Strange since Dartmouth would have been (and still is) reached from Waterloo.
Continuity mistake: When we see Daffy Duck hiding behind the tree at the start of the cartoon, you can see that behind him on the left there is nothing in the background, but when we see wiping the sweat off his face with a towel in the next shot, trees have suddenly appeared.
Continuity mistake: When we first see the baby bird in its nest at the beginning of the cartoon, you can see that the nest is positioned on a branch, but when we see the bird attempting to fly later on, the nest is now in the crook of two branches.
