Miracles - S3-E20

Other mistake: Right before Barney gets hit by the bus, he's on the sidewalk. To the right there is a One Way sign pointing right, but the bus hits him driving left. The bus would have been driving the wrong way on a one way street.

Suggested correction: Not only is this not a mistake (it wouldn't be the first vehicle going the wrong way down a one way street), but we even see Barney looking in the direction of where the vehicles should be coming from and assume himself to be safe. Had the bus not been going the wrong way, Barney would have seen it coming and not been hit.

This is irrelevant. The mistake is that the bus is going the wrong way on a one - way street. While people do break the law like this, a bus driver certainly wouldn't.

Suggested correction: Lots of blank CDs that you can buy do not have labels on the top and therefore are just shiny on top (like they are on the bottom).

Not true. He points the writing at the camera and puts it writing side down.

Wait For It... - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ted goes over to Robin's apartment to yell about their breakup, Robin says "You shaved" and "I liked the beard," implying that this is the first time she has seen Ted since he shaved. But the night before she was in the kitchen at his apartment asking if he was okay with her dating Gael. At that point Ted had already shaved. (00:17:45)

Answer: After running the marathon for Marshall with no training, he's allowed to ride the subway for free. While sat on the train, the muscles in his legs start to seize up after the marathon to the point it is painful to move his legs. This is why he can't move them. It's the same reason your body aches after a good session at the gym the day before.

Answer: Barney ran a marathon without any training and over exerted his muscles. While he was able to walk after, later his leg muscles gave out and he couldn't move (or more likely stand). It is not uncommon when one works out too much to be sore the next day, even if they feel okay afterwards. Thus the saying "I'll feel that in the morning."
