Other mistake: In the flashback where Gael is playing a guitar and singing a song, the chords on the guitar change, but his fingers do not move at all. He is playing the same chord the whole time.

Wait For It... - S3-E1

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ted goes over to Robin's apartment to yell about their breakup, Robin says "You shaved" and "I liked the beard," implying that this is the first time she has seen Ted since he shaved. But the night before she was in the kitchen at his apartment asking if he was okay with her dating Gael. At that point Ted had already shaved. (00:17:45)

Something Blue - S2-E22

Trivia: When Ted and Robin are at the restaurant, they are accidentally sent a champagne glass with an engagement ring in. A man then claims the ring and proposes to his girlfriend. Answer: After running the marathon for Marshall with no training, he's allowed to ride the subway for free. While sat on the train, the muscles in his legs start to seize up after the marathon to the point it is painful to move his legs. This is why he can't move them. It's the same reason your body aches after a good session at the gym the day before.

Answer: Barney ran a marathon without any training and over exerted his muscles. While he was able to walk after, later his leg muscles gave out and he couldn't move (or more likely stand). It is not uncommon when one works out too much to be sore the next day, even if they feel okay afterwards. Thus the saying "I'll feel that in the morning."
