From Method to Madness - S3-E18

Continuity mistake: When we first see the sign outside the Quahog institute of performing arts, it has a cartoon take on the comedy and tragedy masks in the corners. In the left hand corner is a black mask with big ears and a smile and on the right is a white mask with a frown. Later on, the black mask has the frown and the white mask has the big ears and smile and the 3rd time you see the sign it has changed back again.

To Live and Die in Dixie - S3-E12

Continuity mistake: When Peter and Brian are escaping from the locals in their car, they go over a ridge. They freeze in midair and a voice says "those Griffin boys..." and the screen goes black. Then, in the next shot, the whole landscape is different. Even though the angle of the shot is different, that doesn't account for the disappearance of Chris and Sam or the colour-change of the sky. Stuck Together, Torn Apart - S3-E19

Continuity mistake: When Peter goes to see his ex-girlfriend, she says she never washed her hand and takes off her right glove to show a black hand. It is like this right up until Peter leaves. She then turns around and the hands have switched colours. (00:10:00)

A Fish Out of Water - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: Pay attention to the items behind the police auctioneer. In the first couple of shots we see a statue of a knight on a horse to the left of the auctioneer. When the camera cuts to Peter, and then cuts back, the statue is gone. The statue is then back in the next shot. (00:03:20)

Screwed The Pooch - S3-E13

Continuity mistake: When the guys are all playing cards, Peter has a low amount of blue chips. In all the different shots, Peter goes from having no chips to having a lot. The pile is low in the above shots and high when it is close up on Peter.

Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

When You Wish Upon a Weinstein - S3-E22

Peter Griffin: You better watch who you're calling a child Lois. Because if I'm a child then you know what that makes you? A paedophile, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna stand here and be lectured by a pervert.

He's Too Sexy for His Fat - S2-E17

Trivia: In the shot of the Quahog Pest Control building you see a blue termite (Nibbles Woodaway) on the building. New England Pest Control in Providence, Rhode Island has the same bug on top of its building.

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
