In the next shot, from inside the car as they pass, the Chevy is suddenly parked in the same spot, but facing in the opposite direction. Next shot, as the bad guy follows them, the Chevy is facing forward again. (00:18:30)

It flies from his hands when he lands, skidding across the porch, but disappears from the background when he gets up. It reappears just in time for him to snatch it up and shoot Cole with it.
