The Green Hornet mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Reid and Kato are fighting by the pool, the beach ball falls off the chair (beside the pool) when they land in the water, but is back up on the chair in a following shot. (01:12:25)

Super Grover

Revealing mistake: When Kato is driving home after the argument with Britt about making coffee at the office, Kato is jerking the steering wheel randomly like a child pretending to drive despite it seeming they are just driving straight down the road. (00:56:30)

The Minister

Plot hole: In the first part of the movie, when the crime boss shakes down the club owner, he leaves a briefcase bomb inside the office. When he walks outside to explode it, the first thing that explodes are the club's billboard matinee lights, nowhere near the office, then the club explodes outward as it should from a bomb.

Continuity mistake: Kato rides up on his motorcycle and looks through the fence as Reid is begging Lenore to come back to work. In all the close-up shots Lenore is standing inside the house, just inside the sliding glass doors. When the camera cuts to Kato's point of view she is outside. Cut camera angles back to the close-up shots and she is inside the house again.

BocaDavie

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Seth Rogan is in bed with the hot girl and talking to his father, from the father's point of view the hot girl has the sheets pulled up high, but in the opposite point of view (looking towards the father) the sheets are at her waist.

Continuity mistake: In this scene Kato shoots a gun against the black beauty. He aims for the bottles standing behind him and shoots the bottles in the mirror in a different order as they actually break. (00:40:15)

Continuity mistake: In the first chase with the Chrysler and the police car, the Chrysler is right next to the police car as it crashes into the car being towed, but in the next shot the Chrysler is further away and behind the police car as it crashes.

Continuity mistake: The fist time they are out with the Chrysler with the wheel barbs, the police car they run into the tow truck first lost its driver's light, but just before it crashes into the towed car its, drivers light is now back in place. Also the spikes on the Chrysler are no longer there.

Continuity mistake: When Kato is talking to Lenore while Britt is watching through the window, Kato's hands keep changing positions too quickly. At one point we see him pull his hands out of his pockets and keep them on the desk, then they're on his briefcase, then back in his pockets.

Bishop73

Other mistake: When the TV reporter is talking about the men in green being killed, she says dead bodies were found all through the city, at night. However she was reporting on the 7 bodies found (with the appropriate graphic). According to the newspaper, the 7 bodies were found by police in the morning, in one dumpster. Plus, we know when a thug killed a man in green he or she brought the body in, so they weren't found throughout the city. (And she wasn't reporting on bystanders being killed since she mentions they were all wearing green).

Bishop73

Continuity mistake: At the Daily building Cato has a wound on his left cheek which changes size between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Britt tries to kiss Lenore at her home the sun changes between shots.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Britt is in bed with the hot girl and talking to his father, the girl moves her arm twice to grab the news paper.

Kato: I was born in Shanghai. You know Shanghai?
Britt Reid: Yeah, I love Japan.

Trivia: Another Bruce Lee reference: When Kato demonstrates that it's him, not the Green Hornet, that has the power, he uses (an exaggerated version of) Bruce Lee's One Inch Punch.

Question: So, just to make this clear, neither Britt nor Kato win Lenore's heart by the end?

Answer: Any romantic tangent between Lenore, Britt or Kato was derailed when she discovered their true identities. Lenore was furious with both of them. By the end of the film, we only get the impression that she is joining the Green Hornet team, presumably to return as a trio in any sequels. Which, due to low boxoffice and poor reviews, never happened.
