Question: Need the name of a movie where the main actress looks like Kat Dennings. Her BF is in a band and proposes on stage, she says no, and they break up. She gets a new red haired boyfriend, she loses her cat at one time and he looks for it. She is a cartoonist. Draws random events that happened to her and her present/past boyfriend. In the end she has an art exhibit of her drawings. Her sister is getting married at some point and I think she (main actress) gets pregnant. I'm interested in searching for the drawings she did in the film.
Answer: Sound like "Save the Date".
Question: I was talking to someone recently about drone technology and where it's headed - I was trying to give a movie reference to this friend about a movie I saw 10, 15, maybe 20 years ago? In this movie, there are a few gentlemen walking around a lab and one of them spots a fly and I believes tries to swat it with a newspaper. The other guy tells him, no, that it's actually a machine that looks like a fly, I can't remember if it is remote controlled or who the actors were.
Answer: There are two scenes like that. One is from an episode of Get Smart, where smashes a robot fly with newspaper. The other from the 1994 movie Richie Rich, where a scientist shows Richie a robot fly, but Cadbury the butler smashes it.
Question: I'm looking for a the name of a movie possibly made 1940-1958 about the 1800s-1940s. In it there's a fancy ballroom dancing scene where the dancers are getting hot and the host orders all the windows to be broken out (I love that scene). Please help. Thanks.
Answer: Madame Bovary (1949) starring Jennifer Jones, directed by Vincent Minnelli.
Question: In a movie I saw years ago, there was a dumb man who inherited the wealth of a recently deceased relative (possibly uncle) so he moves into the city to live in his mansion. Then he meets this girl who is a reporter and he likes her. He pretends to be someone he's not; using someone else's name. The girl looks up that name (or something) and somehow finds out where his hometown is and really wants him to take her there, so he does, and pretends that he belongs there. He even pretends that he grew up in some house, but it backfires because the the current residents (children answer the door) say that their daddy built the house a few years ago. Anyways, his lies get him into trouble and that's all I remember.
Answer: Sounds vaguely like "Mr Deeds" starring Adam Sandler.
Question: A movie I watched many years ago about two women playing piano duets together in performances and very successful but with husbands/partners who were not so happy about it. Does anyone know the title please?
Question: In this movie a woman decides to live for a short time with a stranger - they fall in love and then she pretends to die. After some time he finds her and realizes she was actually a book writer - he forces her to live everything again, and then she is the one that falls in love.
Question: A long time ago I watched a movie but I can't remember its title. There was a couple - I think they were young and they loved each other, but they got into a fight. One day the boy was waiting for the girl in a diner so they can talk, but when she entered she found a new girl sitting beside him, she ran outside and followed her. The new girl got into her car and drove but she had a big accident and ended up in the ICU, and her father told the boy not to talk to her again.

Question: Once I saw a movie involving little people (like "oompa loompas") and a little car. It was a weird type comedy. Anyway, there was a scene with the little people along with the car on a road and the background song talked about the car. The lyrics of this song tried to imitate the engine sounds by singing "brrum brrum" and talked about the car having four gears... I don't know for sure, but the movie could be Italian... And that's all I can remember. Please, help!
Answer: Sounds like the old Disney movie "The Gnome-Mobile".
Question: There was a movie that I believe took place in the 70's. The movie was about a female reporter who goes to a convent to investigate a supernatural event. The event in question is a nun receiving stigmata wounds on her hands. The nun is terrified by the event and believes that she is being punished by God.
Answer: "Agnes of God" with Jane Fonda and Meg Tilly. Fonda is investigating a pregnant nun who believes she conceived by divine intervention. P.S. The title means "lamb of God."
Question: Why do so many shows, especially cartoons, end or get canceled after 13 episodes. Its like it really is the unlucky number for shows. More often than not, if a show is canceled early on, it's right after episode 13. Why is that?
Answer: Generally, 13 episodes is, depending on the network, either a half-season or a whole one. If it's a half, by the time they finish the 13th episode, they have a decent enough sampling of the average ratings to determine if they want to buy more episodes or not.
Question: I've been trying to find this movie for months now, I don't know much because it was a while ago when I saw it, on TV, but it's about a girl who gets pregnant and her musician boyfriend leaves her. She ends up going to live I think with her family on a farm, and while she is there a guy shows up, and I think that she likes him. They draw her belly each month, and after she has the baby she starts running with her/her, and at the end of the movie she is on a rooftop with the guy - that's all I know!
Question: What movie features a scene where a baby's pram is witnessed rolling away downhill (possibly down steps)?
Answer: Most famously probably The Untouchables, although that took its cue from a sequence in the silent movie Battleship Potemkin, which has been referenced in several movies since.

There are two scenes I remember from the movie: 1) The woman offers the man a gift, but he never accepts gifts because it is against his teaching. However, he accepts her gift because he loves her. I think it was shoes. 2) The woman who gave the gift is in a cell underground and the man is trying to find her to save her. She ends up drowning just as he arrives. If this sounds familiar, please answer!

Question: There's a movie I watched half way through. I never got the title. It had two gentlemen, young and old. The young man knocks on the old man's door, which is opened. Please help what's the title, I want to look for it and see what happens at the end?
Answer: This sounds exactly like "Sleuth". There have been two versions - one in 1972 with Michael Caine as the young man and Laurence Olivier as the older one. The 2007 version featured Michael Caine as the older man and Jude Law as the younger one.
