Question: There was a movie I saw on TV several months ago. It took place in Britain at a school with a student. In the movie, there is some kind of group or band who is popular among kids but for reasons unknown, anyone caught wearing a shirt of the group is arrested. The kid is asked by two fellow students to bring them shirts of the group. He does but when he hands them the shirts, they deny asking anything of him or that they even know him. When the boy turns around, he sees that he's face to face with a cop and his family has to bail him out of jail. What made this movie shocking was that the boy, his sister and his parents were werewolves.
Answer: Wolfblood: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfblood.
Question: I'm trying to find a movie and I cannot think of the name - I know it starts with a guy out running. When he gets home he finds his wife/girlfriend dead in the tub. He rents a room he shares with a woman. He locks her in her room and she poisons him with bacteria she was growing in a petri dish.
Answer: It could be the 1992 TV movie, Deadbolt. Starring Justine Bateman as the girl held prisoner by Adam Baldwin. She put some sort of bacteria in his dessert.
Question: I recall a few scenes from a movie or TV special about a young adult (maybe teen, but I think she was a young adult) who goes into therapy and ends up "uncovering" repressed memories of her father molesting her. If I remember correctly the abuse was said to have started/occurred in infancy. The veracity of the story is questioned and the therapist seems to herself have an overly close relationship to the girl. They choose to prosecute the father and it rips the family apart. I remember one of the final scenes where the girl's family is standing on one side and therapist on the other and the girl walks out with her therapist. The movie addresses issues about statute of limitations and the veracity if repressed memory. That's all I can remember.
Answer: There is a 1993 TV movie with two titles. Not in my Family and Shattering the Silence. Joanne Kerns plays the woman with the repressed memories of abuse. She later takes her father to court.
Question: Trying to find the name of an old black and white movie where a person buys ten or twelve cars and hires drivers then drives through town crashing into other cars that cut them off, doing this one car after another until all the drivers are piled into the one car left. Any suggestion or possible answer would be helpful. Thank you.
Question: Looking for a movie where a woman wants to live with the indians. All I can remember is at the end the indians flee into a mist or a waterfall and this protects the tribe from having the white man follow them and destroying their way of life.
Answer: You may be referring to "Last of The Dogmen" from 1995. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113617/.
Question: I'm searching for the name of a movie I saw when I was about 11 yrs. Old (I'm 52 now), it was a black and white movie, maybe British. It involves a young boy (he sang in a Catholic boys choir) and he sees a man (I think he was in the military) and he kills someone in the boys apartment building. The boy witnesses the murder while he is hiding in the closet. I hope someone out there knows the movie.
Answer: It's the 1959 British film, "Tiger Bay" starring John Mills, Haley Mills, and Horst Bucholz.
Question: A quote stuck in my head and I cannot remember whether it was from a TV show or a movie! Anyway, there is a couple and one of them (I think the woman) asks the other why he (/she) doesn't love her (/him) and if it's because she (/he) can't hurt him (/her) OR break his (/her) heart, like the "third person."
Question: There was a comedy film I saw sometime in the 90's. The movie was about a guy who gets a traffic ticket and loses his license. He is ordered by a judge to go to traffic school to get his license back. He meets other people that are also taking traffic class and they end up getting into crazy adventures. The end of the film has all of them graduating but as the lead guy drives down the road a few minutes later, he sees his friends getting traffic tickets.
Answer: Moving Violations (1985).
Question: Just saw "outbreak" on TV, also saw it several years ago. There's a scene where the camera is passing through the various levels of a bio lab increasing in danger to the higher levels. I remember as the camera passed through each door it would list the various viruses (Ebola, anthrax, etc) that were worked on. When I saw the movie recently it did not list the viruses as it passes through each level. Did something change or am I thinking of another movie?
Answer: Movies tend to get edited for television not only for content, but to fit the standard US television hour: 45 minutes of film, 15 minutes of commercials. Outbreak is 127 minutes long, which means they had to lose 7-12 minutes for American television. The scene you describe doesn't sound particularly important to the plot, and thus, safe to cut. You might be thinking of the mini-series "The Stand," which begins with a similar scene on the base that the virus escapes from showing that everyone in the facility is dead. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108941/).
Question: Don't remember if this was a movie or TV show I saw, but I remember the husband is some kind of liberal lawyer scared of the fall of society. He has a hidden gun safe in his home office and his wife finds out about it, and forces him to choose between his family and his guns.
Answer: It was an episode of House, MD from season 8 called "Perils of Paranoia".
Question: There was a movie about a teenage boy and his girlfriend going on some sort of trip. The boyfriend, while doing something, is bitten on his left arm by a snake. His girlfriend takes him to a hospital for treatment. While asleep in the hospital bed, a nurse notices his left arm is moving in an unnatural way. When she removes the bandages, she is shocked to see that his entire arm has turned into the head and body of a snake, which then kills the nurse. The end of the movie has the boy standing in a field in the rain begging his girlfriend to help him. Suddenly, his mouth opens extremely wide and a snake comes out. The girlfriend is left with no choice but to kill the snake with a shotgun blast to the head. This isn't Anaconda, but I know it was from sometime in the 80's.
Answer: The Curse II: The Bite (1989) from director Frederico Prosperi.
Question: I am not sure if this was from a movie or TV show and my memory is a little vague. There was a girl riding on her skateboard and a van pulls up and she gets abducted. Later, the girl is sitting in a chair and there is a man (villain, I'm guessing) and he is putting leads on her temples, like when they measure brain activity, and he licks her cheek to make it stick. It was kind of like he was trying to brainwash her or something. He also has women working for him, no sure if they are robots or something. That is pretty much all I've got and it's driving me crazy!
Question: I am racking my brain to work out what movie I am thinking of. I think it is some kind of rom-com, I remember there is a "friendly" baseball game maybe right after a break up or fight at some point in the movie and also (at around the same time) the female lead is riding a bike through a park with a female friend at another part. I know it's really not much to go on, but it's all I can remember.
Answer: "About Last Night" (1986) with Demi Moore and Rob Lowe - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090583/. You can watch part of that scene here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9gaTmxI29Y.
Question: I am looking for a Casanova movie where the first Casanova sails off with his wife/girlfriend that he fell in love with and his apprentice / wannabee Casanova 'takes over' being Casanova and no one knows the real / first Casanova has gone with his love.
Answer: This sounds like the 1954 film, "Casanova's Big Night."
Question: There was a movie that I believe had John Shea in it. In the movie, a woman becomes angry at a driver for almost running her down and throws something at the car. The driver responds by actually putting the car in reverse and knocking the woman to the ground. The woman lives but ends up with amnesia. While her husband helps her recover, she not only begins to remember the accident but starts to accuse him of sexually molesting their daughter.
Answer: This sounds like the 1995 TV movie, "See Jane Run." Joanna Kearns plays Shea's wife.
Question: I saw a film, a long time ago, I think it may have been black and white. At some point there is a sheep's body with a man's head, and I think that this creature was in a hospital bed, possibly in a psychiatric hospital. Any idea what the film could be?
Answer: If it was a pig's body, then it was 'O Lucky Man!' from 1973: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070464.
Question: I'm looking for the title of a movie that I've seen in the 80's. A young brainwashed adult woman leave her parents' house to go live in a sect with her boyfriend. At the end of the movie, her father is finally able to take her back home by using force (a kind of kidnapping). Another clue, somewhere during the movie everyone holds each other's hand and sing He's got the whole world in his hands. Thanks for your help.
Question: I am looking for the movie title of a movie with the following beginning scene: Two men are fishing on a small boat on a big lake. It is a calm scene but suddenly you hear the engine of an airplane coming. The noise of the engines gets louder and louder, till you start to see a big aircraft. For some seconds you see the nose of the aircraft and it flies so low that the two man fall out of their small boat. This beginning shot was really impressive for me when I watched it as a kid. It must be a 90s movie. I want to rewatch the movie :-) I looked everywhere on Google but does not seem to find the title. Anyone? Thanks.
