I'm looking for an old TV episode (1950-60) where people on a wagon train keep fighting over food, could be jerky, that they don't realize is poison. The last scene is a greedy old man hungrily eating the jerky.

Answer: It sounds very much like "the Old Man in the Cave", an old Twilight Zone episode from 1963.

There was a TV movie (think it aired on CBS in early or mid '90s) about a deranged person storming into his ex wife's office, and shoots her and anyone else who crosses his path. During the movie, the ex manages to fight for survival until police arrive, and ultimately survives. Would really like to know the title of this movie. Any guesses?

Answer: There is a TV movie with that plot starring Richard Thomas and Brooke Shields. He plays a co-worker who is obsessed with Shields to the point of stalking. No one believes her until his boss confronts him and threatens to kill everyone with weapons in his possession. Which he does, even though Shields is injured, she manages to call 911.

I am looking for a movie that was on TV. Took place out in the woods and it was covered in snow. A woman could not have kids and found a little girl out in the snow. Later in the show you find out the child was made from snow. The woman made her clothes. Please help me find the name of the movie. Thanks.

Chosen answer: This sounds like the Russian folk tale "Snegurochka". There were two films made in Russia adapting the story: an animated one in 1952 and a live action film in 1969.

I'm looking for a comedy movie with a girl who was kidnapped by her father's "men" she acted with another guy who hired someone to help him find her. This guy was quite funny, always drunk and was sexually attracted to another girl who kept wearing weird costumes. I think it started when the girl and guy were bathing in the sea and one of them hid the other's clothing. I believe her father was some rich guy.

If I remember correctly, there was a movie with Jay Underwood who portrayed a man stalking a woman. The movie has him saving the life of a little boy, and the woman thanks him by offering him a free breakfast. He eventually starts to stalk her and even takes pictures of her walls so he can put them on his walls. He also believes that the woman is in love with him.

Answer: It's the 1994 film "Stalked." Maryam d'Abo plays the woman he becomes obsessed with.

I'm looking for a movie that begins with a woman who has to give up her two children, a boy and girl. They get taken in by an elderly couple and in the the man doesn't like them, later on in the movie they become responsible, they are fun to be around with, and the dad begins to like them. The last part I remember was that the girl has a really weird dream. The title had something to do with "the war at home" or something like that.

I once saw a movie about a teenage girl named Monica who starts "modelling" but at the end of the movie her agent makes her put on a school-uniform and then take it off in front of the camera while she cries. Does anyone know the name of this movie? I've been searching for it for a very long time.

Answer: It is the 1980 musical film "Fame".

Need help remembering a movie about a plane that crashed, killing the crew and all of the passengers. What parts of the plane that are considered salvageable, are put into new planes. Suddenly, supernatural events begin occurring on the planes that had the parts installed, such as dead crew members appearing out of nowhere and the ghost of a Captain appearing and warning another Captain about a fire that was going to break out. If I remember correctly, Ernest Borgnine was in this movie.

Answer: The film is called The Ghost of Flight 401. It was a TV movie released in 1978.

I am trying to find a movie that I saw on TV in 1991 while my family was traveling in the States. I remember an old man finding a baby girl abandoned in a restaurant or a cafe and he takes her in. I seem to remember that the mother later shows up again but then disappears only a short time later. I also remember that the baby becomes very ill - the man takes her to a hospital and ends up leaving her there. I also remember another scene where the baby is in foster care I think - he comes in and takes her away with him after finding her lying in a crib with bars across the top. I think the mother is having some problems raising the baby and is trying to find someone who can either adopt the baby or help her to take care of it. Can anyone help me out? I would really like to know what this movie was called.

There was a movie about two women who become best friends and talk about everything in their lives. One day, the conversation goes to their husbands and how much they get annoyed by them. They then state how much they would like to kill them. One of the women says that if she kills her friend's husband, then her friend must kill hers. The other woman says it's a deal, but, only meant it as a joke. The other woman then actually kills her friend's husband and now demands that she follow up on her "promise." I believe this was a Lifetime movie.

Answer: The movie is called "Double Cross". It originally aired in 2006.

There was a movie about a woman whose baby was constantly sick. She took the baby to a doctor who kept feeding blood to the baby to help it survive. It turns out the baby was actually turned into a vampire and the doctor is also a vampire. He then convinces the mother to let him have the baby so that he can protect it and make sure that it doesn't grow up a killer.

Answer: I think that movie is called Grace.

No. It's not this one. The one I saw was in the early to mid 90's.

I'm trying to find the name of a short film I watched long ago. It starts off at a swimming centre where a woman (in her 40s maybe) is swimming and then goes to take a shower, where two girls take her clothes. The woman is then seen riding home on her bicycle wearing the shower curtain, where a bunch of young guys on their bikes begin chasing her. She gets derailed... And so on and one of the guys crashes into her, he gives her his red hoodie. The film ends with her at home wearing his hoodie... I've searched all over to try and find it and no luck, I hope someone knows what I'm talking about!

Answer: It's called "Push Bike" (2011): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1580343/. Here's a link to the facebook page for the film, it has some screenshots and possibly a link to watch it: https://www.facebook.com/Push-Bike-the-short-film-124041790970259/.

I am looking for the movie title of a story of a pretty troubled girl that was in a relationship with someone but she met and became infatuated with a mechanic. The movie had a unusual soundtrack.

Answer: It sounds like it could be Drive. A woman meets a stunt driver (Ryan Gosling) who works for a mechanic (played by Bryan Cranston). They get close but her partner is then released from prison.

I'm looking for a movie that I'm 99.9% positive was aired on TV in the 1980's. I want to say that it involved a search and rescue team that went looking for people who were stranded while climbing during a storm. One of the main characters (an older man) who was also one of the rescuers, died after getting trapped in a crevice and having to survive the night in the perilous conditions. I remember very distinctly that one of the last scenes was, in the morning, after weather conditions allowed, they found this man's body, and his body was flown by helicopter back to headquarters. It was a real tearjerker.

Answer: High Ice (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080869). On YouTube there's a trailer for it and it has the old guy stuck in the rock pocket yelling at his radio.

Wondering what a late 80's American TV movie was. It had 3 or 4 cowboys that somehow were in the future (The 80's) They would fight for good and said some ridiculous line "like smooth a silk to the hilt" or something similar when they were going to gun fight. I remember it being ridiculous but funny.

Answer: This was "Outlaws", a CBS series which ran for 12 episodes from late 1986 to 1987. IMDb has a catchphrase in the quotes section which ends in "...to the hilt."

I'm looking for the title of a late 40s movie about a couple in Nazi Germany who could not marry because she wore glasses. It had to do with Hitler's breeding program.

I am looking for the title of a movie about a teenage girl who works in a circus with her mom until her mom has an aneurysm or a stroke. Then she travels into a sort of dream world in search of a cure. Shes helped by a man who she meets in the dream world, but in real life he is a waiter. There is also an evil version of her mother and of the girl herself. If you can tell me the title it would be great - I have been trying to track it down.

Answer: Could be MirrorMask (2005).

I'm looking for the name of a movie about a businessman who had a mistress with a child and a family that didn't know about them. He died unexpectedly. Probably a made for TV movie from the 1980s. I was watching it late one night and missed the ending. always wondered how it ended. Thank you.

Answer: This could be "Double Standard," about a prominent judge who had a wife and family, but kept a mistress and 7 kids in another city. Robert Foxworth played the judge, Pamela Bellwood played his wife, and Michele Green played the mistress. The mistress got pregnant while she was a teen, and for a while the judge and his wife raised that baby, but then he gave her back to the mistress, telling his wife that the adoption was challenged. The wife found out when the girl she'd raised showed up at her door. The truth came out when one of the kids was hurt somehow. I think it's based on a true story.

Jodi Hendon

There was a movie that had John Cusack and it took place in the old west. Cusack plays a wanted man. One scene in the movie has him going on horseback to a house. When he gets there, the owner of the house opens fire even though John shouted that he only wanted to talk to the man. When the man hears a sound right behind him, he turns and kills his own wife. Another scene in the movie has the man lying about what really happened while John is caught and on trial.

Answer: Good movie from TV called "The Jack Bull": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0171410/.

There used to be a reality television series (I can't remember the network I believe it to be USA or A&E). Basically it was a black guy and a white guy who drove around the country in an older pick up truck. They would pick people out at random and ask them what they need most, then by other companies' or peoples' acts of kindness they would get it for them. In one episode it was a cellphone, in another episode it was a job, in another an apartment. It didn't last long, maybe a season or two but it was a very well intentioned, meaningful show.

Answer: Sounds like you're talking about "Barter Kings".
