What's the movie? A jungle village, a single nurse/missionary meets a roving doctor touring remote tribes, They fall in love, after he is long gone she finds she is pregnant, aghast at the situation herself, but the tribe welcome her as family and together they raise her son. The doctor returns after 5-6 years, finds he has a son but can't let the stigma soil his family's name. He plans that they should marry, she being a widow, and he adopts her son so they can go back to civilization, out of the savage jungle with nobody knowing the details. She tells him off and stays.

Chosen answer: The Sins of Rachel Cade, starring Angie Dickinson and Roger Moore.

A native American couple escaping the Army, a woman gets off her horse, has a baby, gets back on her horse. What's the movie?

Answer: There is a scene like that in the the 1970 movie Little Big Man with Dustin Hoffman, who observes this while hiding from the army also. Alternatively Man in the Wilderness with Richard Harris. Made in the mid seventies. He plays trapper abandoned by his comrades, after being mauled by a grizzly bear. He survives and tries to catch up with his friends and has several small adventures along the way, including watching an Indian woman give birth to a child.

Hi, I'm searching for a name of a movie that I saw maybe 20 years ago. I can't remember much, but I think it's in a small town, and there's this guy that hides in the woods (can't remember why), and either his grandmother or mother are helping him, they give him food, etc. I know, not much to go on, but I'd really appreciate if someone would help me. Thank you.

Chosen answer: Sounds like maybe Spitfire Grill.

A girl is in a foster home and the only friends she has are these little paper dolls. The other girls bully her, and one girl tries to drown her when she's in the bath. She gets told off for it because she wasn't supposed to get her hair wet, and then she pushes the bully down the stairs, who I think breaks her neck and dies.

Chosen answer: The movie name is "Dustbin Baby".

Forgotten the film. I think it starts with a blond American young teenage boy driving a (possibly a red sports car (I think it's his step-dads or something, he's using it without permission). I think he's racing towards a cliff edge in a desert, but I think he stops it just in time for him to leap out, but I think the car goes over the edge. I think during this drive a futuristic police man (that I think may be a robot, not human?) is following him on a hovering motorbike, and manages to stop him and maybe return him home. Thanks.

Answer: This is the introduction of James T Kirk in the 2009 Star Trek movie.

A sad movie in the 70s where a girl gets sick, doctors have to freeze and keep the girl till they find the cure. Her boyfriend engineer waits for her and gets very old.

Answer: Maybe "Live Again, Die Again" (1974 TV Movie) starring Donna Mills. You can watch it in parts here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omActbE9DeA.

I don't know if this is a TV show or a movie, but I know that there is a kid who gets in trouble or similar, and has to become another kid's tutor. The tutor goes to the kids house and eventually gets together with the kid's sister, I think?

I kind of remember watching this episode of what I believe was The Twilight Zone, and the episode was about a woman who started to find stuff in her home moved after she was gone, or not the way she left it. Then at the end she finds out someone was living in her house during the hours she was working or something, sharing the same house and did not know until then... It may be something else.

Thais Circelli Ok

Chosen answer: Actually, that is from a short lived TV series called Night Visions. A Twilight Zone type show that came out in 2001. The episode was titled, The Occupant. Bridget Fonda played the woman who believed someone was in her home. It turned out she was the intruder.

What movie is this scene from? A guy goes to another guy's office and shoots at him, but the bullet goes through the wall and hits a woman in the adjoining office. He goes into that office and shoots her. Thanks.

Answer: Mulholland Drive (Dir. David Lynch).

Looking for the name of a movie. A middle aged man sits at table in bar holding forth with various customers and the bartender. He orders champagne, at one point a young man plays a piano and sings. It was like a play that was filmed; may have been black and white, but I'm not sure. There were a lot of profile shots of the man at the table. Thank you.

A friend is trying to identify which Western this quote comes from: "If I could find the man who taught you those tricks, I'd shake him by the hand and then shoot him like a dog." He has just spent the night with a woman and this is his quote in the morning.

What is the name of a movie (or serial) where the bad guys threaten Earth by cloning the sun. I recall stock footage of mobs of people fleeing in terror (presumably to jump into a body of water not yet boiling). Not to be confused with Republic serial where the bad guys were able to dim our sun and freeze the Earth. Any help much appreciated.

What's a TV show that is about a girl who crashes her car or something and winds up in a small town and she has to stay there until she serves her sentence?

Answer: There was a Hallmark Christmas movie like this... Christmas Parade.

I remember an animated (I think) TV series about a guy and his sister who try and find their mother. The main enemy was a bald woman. It also was about flying ships and dogfights aplenty. The last thing I remember is that they join a group of people on what looks like an old 19th century ship. Can someone please tell me what this is called?

Dra9onBorn117

Answer: Skyland.

I'm looking for a movie from years ago that has a scene where a truck driver makes a scared woman take her clothes off. Might be from mid '80's.

sck666

Answer: There is a scene like this in Thelma and Louise, guy isn't a truck driver but they are next to a truck in a car park.

There was a movie about an older man who had fallen in love with teenager. However, the girl doesn't love him back and he becomes so angry that he uses astral projection to torment her and kill her friends. The more the guy uses astral projection, the more hideous his appearance. The girl then turns to a teenage guy for help. The movie ends with her friend getting killed and his astral form killing the man. When she tells the police what happened, they don't believe her and place her under arrest for killing the man. Bridgette Nielsen had a cameo appearance in it as a librarian.

Answer: I believe this is 976-EVIL 2: The Astral Factor.

I'm looking for the name of a movie (possibly TV show) that aired in the 90s. It may have been a direct to TV affair. It possibly was a movie my parents rented and I only caught glimpses of. In it, a man's wife and son are in the final stages of moving out and leaving him. He jokingly jump scares the wife or something. The wife is scared and fed up with the man. We see them leave with their stuff in the car and he's looking at them leave, sad and lonely. Later, we see this man talking with another man in a cellar or basement. For whatever reason, the other man is killed by the father by having bugs crawl across his face - somehow. The father callously left the man to die. Anyone help me out on this? It's been bugging me most of my life, what the movie was and what was wrong with the dad.

Need the name of a movie where the main actress looks like Kat Dennings. Her BF is in a band and proposes on stage, she says no, and they break up. She gets a new red haired boyfriend, she loses her cat at one time and he looks for it. She is a cartoonist. Draws random events that happened to her and her present/past boyfriend. In the end she has an art exhibit of her drawings. Her sister is getting married at some point and I think she (main actress) gets pregnant. I'm interested in searching for the drawings she did in the film.

Shelley Badman

Chosen answer: Sound like "Save the Date".

I was talking to someone recently about drone technology and where it's headed - I was trying to give a movie reference to this friend about a movie I saw 10, 15, maybe 20 years ago? In this movie, there are a few gentlemen walking around a lab and one of them spots a fly and I believes tries to swat it with a newspaper. The other guy tells him, no, that it's actually a machine that looks like a fly, I can't remember if it is remote controlled or who the actors were.

Matthew Sellers

Chosen answer: There are two scenes like that. One is from an episode of Get Smart, where smashes a robot fly with newspaper. The other from the 1994 movie Richie Rich, where a scientist shows Richie a robot fly, but Cadbury the butler smashes it.

Answer: Is it Sci-Fi?! If so, then "The Fifth Element" Also fills this bill.
