At the end of this scene a white Vauxhall Nova has just appeared in the garden.
Hyacinth: It's Bouquet.
Question: Was it ever established in the show whether Hyacinth could drive or not?
Answer: He [Richard] drives the car because Hyacinth has not learned to drive, but claims he only steers while Hyacinth drives by "word of mouth."
