Deliberate mistake: Kilgrave tells a man to throw a cup of coffee in his face, which he then does. Due to how hot the coffee was, it leaves the man in severe pain. The coffee cup was fairly small, had no lid and was exposed to the cool air, so even if the coffee had been boiled recently, it should have cooled down fairly quickly. (00:10:25)

Other mistake: After Jessica Jones snaps back to reality from her flashbacks as a teenager in the bathroom with the broken marble sink, she receives a text message on her phone from an unknown number. The word "unknown" on the message heading is misspelled. (00:24:00)

Trivia: The yellow/black costume that Trish tries on and says "hell no" to when she's trying to decide on a crime fighting outfit is Hellcat's costume from the comics.
