Continuity mistake: At the start, when Mac is on the flight, he's holding a newspaper while the flight attendant walks toward him, but it cuts to a closer shot and the newspaper is instantly different as the flight attendant tells Mac he has an urgent call.

Continuity mistake: After Danny assists Lindsay with the multiple footprints issue, when Danny gets the phone call from Don, his dark shirt's right sleeve is unbuttoned and loose, but it cuts to a wider shot and suddenly his dark shirt sleeve is buttoned up, covering his watch and the white shirt. Continuity mistake: After the intro, while Mac is inside the empty water tower taking photos of Stacie, the victim's body is lying face down, but there's a close-up of both feet as if she's already lying face up, though it's not until about seven shots later that Mac turns the victim over onto her back.

Continuity mistake: When Danny joins Hawkes at the crime scene, the victim's right false eyelash is lying across her cheek. While Hawkes takes photos, just as Danny says, "She might have just come from work," the victim's right false eyelash is gone, but then it reappears on her cheek in the same position as previous shots.
