Continuity mistake: When Nani tries to open the back door and tells Mr. Bubbles to wait outside, the back door has a door knob and an upper deadbolt lock. Then, when Nani opens this door from the inside, there is only a door knob of a different style without a keyhole, and the upper deadbolt lock is gone. As Mr. Bubbles enters the home, the deadbolt lock is back on the door. In later shots the door knob also has a backplate, and it disappears along with the deadbolt lock. (00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: In the kitchen, when Mr. Bubbles kneels down beside Lilo, his "COBRA" tattoos are on the knuckles of his right hand. However, when he removes his sunglasses, those tattoos are missing in the close-up, and in other subsequent close-ups showing his right hand, such as when he confronts Nani about being jobless. Continuity mistake: While Jumba is in the house searching for Stitch, Lilo helps Stitch hide a small explosive device inside Scrump, the rag doll. When Stitch pushes the roller skate with Lilo's doll across the floor, in the close-up the skate's two buckle tongues are on the right, but in the next shot the tongues are on the opposite side. Trivia: When Nani is chasing after Lilo, the young girl hides from Nani. In the original version, as seen on VHS and first edition DVD (and possibly other early releases), when Nani leans against the wall she hears the metal squeaks of the dryer door and realises Lilo is hiding inside the clothes dryer. In later releases and media, this specific scene has been altered: the audio of metal squeaking was removed; the dryer edited out and changed to Lilo hiding under a wood table, using a pizza box lid as the door blocking her from Nani's view. Continuity mistake: When Nani is trying to pull the nails out through the dogflap, Mr. Bubbles shows up and nudges Nani's foot. It cuts to an overhead shot of Nani when she pulls her head out of the dog flap, and Lilo's blue sandals sit directly in front of the door's moulding trim. In the next shot the sandals have suddenly moved away from the moulding. (00:15:45)

Continuity mistake: When Nani discovers the pot overheating and smoking on the stove, it's a large pot with a wide handle atop the lid, but then it becomes an overheating small, flat pan with a round knob on its lid. The stove's control knobs change as well. (00:11:05)

Trivia: When Lilo shows Stitch her room for the first time, there is a photo of Mickey Mouse on the wall.

Trivia: In the film, watch carefully in the scene where Lilo is teaching Stitch how to dance at the outdoor market. Behind them, formed by three grapefruit, is a Hidden Mickey. There's another tiny Mickey in the grapefruit sign, where the "a" should be. (00:42:30)

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bubbles enters the back door, there are two large white appliances side-by-side (presumably washer and dryer). However, when Lilo hides from Nani, now there's a wood table instead of the appliance that was beside the back door, but thereafter it reverts. (00:17:30 - 00:20:15)

Continuity mistake: While Lilo is listening to Elvis on the record player, Nani pokes her head through the door's dog flap and notices all the nails that Lilo hammered into the door jamb. Nani then uses the claw hammer to pull out one nail at the bottom, but the problem is that the lowest nail did not actually exist in the previous shots. (00:15:40)
