Plot hole: In "A Marriage Made In Heaven" Phelps and Berkowsky locate the hit and run driver's car in early morning hours. Clearly they could've found which apartment was the driver, William Sheldon's, and gone in to arrest to him instead of waiting several hours.

Plot hole: In "The Set Up" it's never explained how Carlos Arquero could tail Candy Edwards to the bus station without being seen by Phelps or Earle, much less how he got in the ladies' room to kill her.

Plot hole: The game takes place within a year from 1946-1947. That would be impossible for Cole Phelps to advance through patrol and through all four police squads: Traffic, Homicide, Vice, Arson.
