Meg 2: The Trench (2023)

Factual error: When Jonas is exiting the escape pod airlock without his protective equipment in order to swim back to the other entrance, he purposely floods his sinuses with water (to remove the air) in order to cope with the pressure and not crush his head. At least this is the explanation from other members of the team with him. However, what about all that air in his lungs? At that depth/pressure, the implosion of his chest cavity would kill him within seconds.

Volcano (1997)

Factual error: In the scene during the evacuation of the Cedar Hospital, Dr Calder is assessing a patient and uses the defibrillator on him. She puts the paddles in the wrong spots on the chest - right hand one over the abdomen and the other over the left lower chest. As a doctor she should know to put the right hand paddle over the upper right chest. This is important for the normal electrical pathway through the heart to reset and restart normal cardiac activity. (01:27:22)
