Corrected entry: In the shower scene. The water drains anti clockwise. Bates Motel is supposed to be in Arizona, (northern hemisphere) so the water should drain clockwise.

Correction: That's a myth I'm afraid - it's far more to due with the shape of the sink and whether it's level: http://www.snopes.com/science/coriolis.asp.
