Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: What is the logical reason behind King Candy's decision to delete Vanellope's code? What does he gain from it? From what I understand, he didn't think she'd become a glitch, but what exactly did he have against her and why delete her instead of any other racer?

Answer: As shown later on, Candy was revealed to be Turbo. A racer whose racing game was ruined by another racing game. His jealousy drove him to ruining both his game and the other game. Turbo then wanted to live in a racing game, so chose Sugar Rush. Vanellope was revealed in the end to be the leader of Sugar Rush and King Candy tried to delete her code and re-write his code so he could be leader and take part in all the races. That's why he didn't delete any other racer's code - because getting Vanellope's code deleted would have made him the leader. Candy had nothing against Vanellope, he just wanted to be leader by any means possible.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: After Ralph destroys Vanellope's kart, she runs back into Diet Cola Mountain. The next we see of her, she's inside the Fungeon. When did that happen? King Candy and his officers apparently don't know that she can enter the mountain, so how would they have known where to find her?

Answer: This was just an oversight. In early versions of the film, we see King Candy lie in wait and capture Vanellope as she exits Diet Cola Mountain. It was cut for time and most audience members usually just assume this happens. Source: worked on the film.

Answer: This happened between the time Ralph left Sugar Rush and when he came back to Sugar Rush to confront Sour Bill. They knew that Vanellope was located in that specific area, so King Candy and his officers searched every part of this area since he knew for sure that she was around this place. Soon enough, he would have discovered Diet Cola Mountain, found Vanellope inside the mountain, captured her and locked her in the Fungeon.

Question: Are Turbo and his game named after some famous character and video game, if not what were he and his game named after? (01:41:00)

Answer: According to Disney Wiki, TurboTime is supposed to be a parody of Rally-X, but is portrayed as a racing game instead of a maze game.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: If Vanellope's true rank is princess, how come she doesn't know or remember?

Answer: When King Candy went to delete Vanellope's code making her a glitch, he also locked all of the stuff the racers and citizens knew about Vanellope in a chest. Since Vanellope was also one of the racers, she would have forgotten everything about herself.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: Is the clown at the anniversary party part of Fix-It Felix Jr. the video game or another video game? Or is he just a member of Fix-It Felix Jr. who is never seen by the players but works in the apartment? (01:48:00)

Answer: On Disney Wiki, it shows all the cameos of video game characters but doesn't show the clown. So we can cross out the other video games. The clown is never seen on the roof when Ralph is thrown off it. So we are not sure if he is part of Fix-It Felix, Jr. Since we are not told, it's most likely he works at the apartment but just doesn't go on the roof when Ralph is thrown off it.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: When Ralph is trying to help Vanellope learn how to drive, he claims he knows how to drive since he flew the plane. Vanellope reminds him that he crashed the plane. How does she know that happened? Did she actually see Ralph crash the plane before she first appears? (01:48:00)

Answer: When Ralph enters Sugar Rush, the plane is seen crashing into several candy trees and Vanellope herself is sitting on a candy tree at the time. Also when Ralph is ejected out of the plane, he sees the medal only a few trees away. Vanellope is on the same tree as the medal so she would have seen Ralph ejected out of the plane, which means she knew Ralph crashed the plane.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Question: When King Kandy returns Ralph his medal, King Kandy also convinces him that if Vanellope wins the race, she will become a popular player for the children that play in the arcade. Yet, with her glitching making the game seem like it is malfunctioning, the game will be unplugged while Vanellope stays in the game and dies. He even mentions that he is trying to protect her. Ralph knew that King Kandy and his minions where chasing him and Vanellope because she was like a wanted criminal as a glitch. Why does Ralph believe him anyway?

Answer: Ralph knew Vanellope was a glitch. His choice was either let Vanellope win the race but let the players think she was malfunctioning and have the game unplugged or stop her from racing and the game wouldn't be unplugged. Ralph wasn't going to take the risk of the game getting unplugged and have Vanellope die so Ralph had no choice but to believe King Candy so Vanellope would stay safe no matter what.

Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Answer: It takes place in Hero's Duty. We know that from the earlier flashback where Calhoun and her previous fiance we going to get married and the fiance was killed by a cy-bug. Since the cy-bugs were only ever in Hero's Duty, then it would have to have been in Hero's Duty.
