Continuity mistake: As stated in another entry, Brown states that they are in a Huey when they are actually shown in a JetRanger. Later on, after twice showing night shots of a JetRanger flying overhead, they are shown in the cargo area of a Huey, then are shown flying and deploying out of a Huey. (00:04:30)

Continuity mistake: In the final shootout scene, Jeff is holding a Colt 1911 style pistol, which is single action only. This means that it must be cocked prior to firing it the first time, or squeezing the trigger will have no effect. When he is holding his hands up, the hammer is cocked back like it should be, but when the camera zooms in on his face, the hammer is down. When the camera backs out again, the hammer is cocked again.

Continuity mistake: When Summer is singing in the park, her hair changes from in front of her shoulder to behind her shoulder in between shots.

Continuity mistake: While out to dinner with William, Summer has her wine glass in her hand one minute, and when the shot changes her hands are under the table - too quickly for her to have put the wine down.

Continuity mistake: When the victim is hit by the car, it shows him get run over by the front right wheel of the limo. Later on, the body is "thrown 45 feet" and is ahead of the stopped limo.

Continuity mistake: At the Italian restaurant, Daniel asks for just a touch of cheese on his broccoli. With the camera on the broccoli, Eduardo pours so much cheese on it that it overflows. Off shot you can see him continue to pour, so you'd assume that it would be absolutely saturated and a big mess, but when they pan back to the table, the broccoli has very little, if any, cheese on it.

Continuity mistake: When Blondie is saved by the mortar shell, and it shows the empty noose, it is completely different than the noose that Blondie had around his neck. The loop that the noose went through to hold it to the beam has changed.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where McClane rebuffs Ferrell for thinking it would be cool to do the firesale, you can see pipes for firehoses right behind McClane. When the shot changes to a long alley shot, the pipes are a good ten feet away, but when it reverts back to a closeup, the pipes are back to right behind McClane. (00:55:20)

Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, Goldie calls to go to camera 205, but on the screen it's camera 204.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning, the undercover cop says the combination is 666. But the lock has a 4 digit combination.

Continuity mistake: When Stowe walks into the police station for the first time after waking up, he is wearing a necklace. The next shot shows he isn't.

Continuity mistake: When the Asian Minister has the pen in his hand with the big flat end piece on it, you can see it goes from having the logo in front to back a couple of times.

Continuity mistake: When Highway goes to his ex-wife's house and pours her a beer in a glass, it has about an inch of head on it. When the camera angle changes there's no head on the beer.

Continuity mistake: Right after Hitch has his bout with food poisoning and he's talking to Sara on the couch, her hair changes. For most of her speech about her sister falling through the ice, the hair on the right side of her face is behind her shoulder. Towards the end of the story it goes in front of her shoulder and then at the end it's back behind it.

Continuity mistake: When the Captain and Mrs. Plummer return in the black Ford Crown Victoria, the Ford emblem is missing on the grill. When the Crown Vic crashes into the car dealership later on, the Ford emblem is intact.

Continuity mistake: During the chase of the Caprice and the Jaguar, the damage on the Caprice constantly changes. Right before the car jumps off the overpass, it has lots of front end damage. When it's in the air it's clean but after it's landed it's torn up again.

Continuity mistake: The nose of Crew's truck is bent before he even rams the truck when they attempt to box him in. (00:46:45)

Continuity mistake: When Shale gets in the fight in the library, he takes a round to the upper left chest. When he takes the shirt off to reveal the vest there's no bullet and no damage to the vest.

Continuity mistake: Rollie breaks the paddle behind his desk, but later on in the movie you can see it behind him and it's unbroken.

Continuity mistake: When Shale goes to interrogate the guy at the Jai Alai court the guy tries to hit him with the balls. He puts one in his cesta (the scoop on his hand) and it falls out as he tries to launch it but a ball still launches at Shale.
