Mr. F - S3-E5

Corrected entry: When the family is meeting in the Board Room at the office, a boom mic is visible for a few seconds then is pulled out of camera view.

Japan-Games

Correction: This is an intentional part of the joke. It is just after they say there "may be a listening device in the room."

X-Men 3 (2006)

Corrected entry: Near the beginning when the boy is cutting his wings, his hand is reaching behind his back. During different shots he's reaching behind him with different hands. (00:03:30)

Japan-Games

Correction: There is no mistake. The camera shot simply changes from filming Angel directly to filming the mirror reflection, and there is plenty of time for Angel to turn to face the mirror. You can tell the second shot is a reflection because the position of his mole switches sides. The mole is always opposite of the hand/arm Angel uses.

Happy Gilmore (1996)

Corrected entry: If Happy has enough money to bid on his Grandmother's house then he has enough money to pay the back taxes to the IRS and stop the auction. Also, the IRS only cares about the taxes, anything bid over the tax amount is returned to the owner. Happy could bid a million dollars and win, at which point he'd have to pay his own Grandmother, something we can probably assume she wouldn't sue him for, given their relationship.

Japan-Games

Correction: Except that the IRS gives a specified time to pay the taxes. IE, if the taxes are not paid by such and such a date, the auction will proceed. Happy didn't have enough money by the deadline, but did have enough once the auction started. The IRS would take the taxes owed out, and any money over the amount would go to the owner, however, the person purchasing the house can still force her to move out. Any bid at an auction is legally binding and would have to be paid. There are laws against this, and laws against bidding on your own property (or property of a friend or family member) to jack the price up.

Saw III (2006)

Corrected entry: The shotgun in the clear case is pointed at the right side of the Judge's face. After the gun fires the hit is registered on the left side of his face.

Japan-Games

Correction: As John says "I've got the key" the judge turns to look at him, making the gun point at the left side of his face.

Las Vegas (2003)

Show generally

Corrected entry: It's understandable, but when security accesses a camera they always seem to tune in right before a crime or right at the time when plot-moving information is obtained.

Japan-Games

Correction: Actually, most of the time they use the monitors from the cameras, they are going over taped footage.

Lost (2004)

Show generally

Corrected entry: They're often trying to figure out who is on the plane, but it would seem pretty easy to determine just by asking questions about innocuous things, such as the layout of Sydney airport, what food/movies they had on the plane, a description of the check-in counter, etc. There are probably hundreds of possible questions that someone who wasn't there wouldn't know.

Japan-Games

Correction: And how much would you honestly notice about the layout of an airport, or the check-in counter (which look pretty much identical in every airport I've ever been in)? There are airports that I've arrived at or departed from, but I couldn't tell you much about the layout - you just follow the signs; you don't need to learn where everything is. Movies? All they have to say is that they didn't watch any or they were asleep so they don't remember. Food? Early on there's still food remaining from the plane, so easy to determine what was on the menu. Who were they sitting next to? Given that the majority of the plane's passengers died, would be relatively easy to simply claim to be sitting next to one of the fatalities. An infiltrator could work out a plausible answer to just about any question that they might be asked, particularly as initially the survivors have no reason to suspect that there could be anyone there who wasn't on the plane, allowing them ample time to research their story.
