Continuity mistake: When Ronald is talking to Kenneth in Science class the first morning he and Cindy are acting as a couple, Ronald's position changes. In one scene his back is completely to the table and the next he's leaning on his right side facing Kenneth.

Continuity mistake: When Valentine (Murphy) and Winthorpe (Aykroyd) are at Winthorpe's house at the end of the movie. Winthorpe is on the floor cleaning his gun. In the next shot Ophelia (Jamie Lee Curtis) points out Beeks on TV and Valentine and Winthorpe jump up from the couch when Winthorpe should have been and was on the floor. (01:25:30)

Continuity mistake: When Max is talking with Tito at the end during the final show they're both talking and standing next to the record player. In the next scene they're both standing way off stage (no longer next to the record player) and then Max enters on stage and Tito walks up behind him. (01:27:25 - 01:28:25)

Continuity mistake: In the beginning when Novalee and Willy Jack are leaving to go to California, Novalee asks Willy Jack to take a picture of her friends. When he takes the picture, she's almost entirely facing him. However, when the picture is on the visor on Novalee's side of the car, her back is completely turned away from him and all you see is her back and the back of her head. (00:01:40 - 00:03:05)

Continuity mistake: When Valmont visits Madame de Tourvel and enters her room, there's a servant standing next to Valmont who appears to leave and you hear the door close. In the next scene he is still standing there with the door closed and then takes Valmont's hat, opens the door, and leaves.
