Corrected entry: When Novalee sleeps with the mechanic (this is the same day the couple from Midnight, MS come to sister's door), later, when Novalee is telling Lexie about her fear of being pregnant, she states she met him last month. (Lexie is not pregnant in this scene.) A few scenes later, when she is with Forne buying the Christmas tree, Lexie is extremely pregnant, but on the way home they state that Americus is 5 months old. This is when Americus goes missing, but when sister tells the story, she states that the couple from Midnight, MS came up only yesterday, when in the previous scenes it appears to have spanned several months.

Correction: When Sister tells the story, she mentions that a woman had come to the door and that it hadn't been the first time she'd seen her, she had come to the house before (with a man). So the Midnight MS couple come (the scene which we see where Sister sasses them back), then a few months later the Midnight MS woman comes back to try again (a scene which we don't see, only hear Sister refer to after Americus is kidnapped and the bible found in her crib).
