Speed (1994)

Revealing mistake: When Ortiz first sees Jack stranded beneath the moving bus, he lifts his head to tell Annie. But the pavement, as seen through the bus floor's opening, is completely motionless. (01:17:25)

Continuity mistake: The Suburban that swerves onto the LAX runway to retrieve Jack has no scaffold equipped on its driver's side, but we know for a fact that moments later Jack actually exits the bus and steps safely onto one. Somehow the Suburban has managed to gain a scaffold at cruising speed, but this couldn't have possibly happened unless a different, identical-looking vehicle with a scaffold pulled up at some point during the scene to take its place. Other mistake: As the first bus explodes on its way from the cafe, we can see a blonde pedestrian casually walk past a window with her ears covered. At no point does she even stop to glance at the burning wreck. It seems (from her perspective) as though the explosion were merely an inconvenient loud noise and nothing worth noticing. (00:27:55)

Continuity mistake: On the subway train where Payne opens the money bag, a dye pack goes off and leaves a purple stain on the dead man's handle. But moments later in the shot where Payne stops firing his machine gun at the ceiling, the stain has vanished. (01:42:35)

Continuity mistake: Upon exiting the highway into downtown traffic and blasting through a red light, the bus has a couple of road signs lodged into its bumper which disappear between shots - right before it gets blindsided by a Ford Taurus. (00:47:15)

Continuity mistake: When the crane breaks free from its bolts and starts flying towards some ventilation windows, it obliterates the upper pair. However in the next view from within an air duct, both of these windows just swing open freely as the crane busts through, and yet they barely appear to have suffered a scratch or bend in the process.
