Continuity mistake: Drew Barrymore's hair varies from shot to shot, as well as within scenes. It's always styled a bit differently, as if she did not have the same hairstylist more than once.
Lucky You (2007)
Directed by: Curtis Hanson
Starring: Robert Duvall, Drew Barrymore, Eric Bana, Horatio Sanz, Phyllis Somerville
Continuity mistake: About midway through the film, Eric Bana's character, "Huck," gets roughed up a bit and suffers a blow to the face, resulting in a bad bruise near his left temple. Throughout the film thereafter, the wound shows varying degrees of healing, often appearing worse than in the prior scene. For example, toward the end of the film, there is a poker tournament, and the wound is healed a bit, although redder than before, as it should be for the days that have passed. But immediately after that shot, the next shot shows the wound worse than before, and in fact even bigger.
L. C. Cheever: You got it backwards kid. You play cards the way you should lead your life. And you lead your life the way you should play cards.
Billie Offer: That's like an alcoholic saying I only drink Tequila.
Billie Offer: You say whatever you think somebody wants to hear. It's dangerous to be around you.
